Tried on my lil Toyota. Just turned off and on and off and on and screen goes black. Click the button and it turned back on after waiting like 2 minutes. Then it goes black again. But when it's is on it shows the gauges with no readings and everything is 0. (No it's not my car I tested it in my 2019 Honda Crv and same thing)

I got this for a prius and use it for RPM and Engine temperature. I would get another one for my truck if it had transmission temp, but at least this version does not. That doesn't take away from how cool this display is. OBD2 reader, quarter mile and zero to 60 time. Braking distance. I've had it for a few weeks and it's been trouble free.

I’ve used this piece for a few months now and it works great. I rotated the screen 180deg which allowed me to install it upside down. Can’t complain at this price point.

Works perfect in my 2013 mustang. Fits perfectly between factory gauges. My only gripe is that the digital speed numbers change color from white to yellow, then orange once you go past 60 mph and 70 mph. I wish there was a way to turn that off.

I mainly bought this due to the small size where I can place it above my steering column and not obstruct my cluster. For the price, I got what I expected. I wish there was a bit more conductibility, especially in the multi-function mode. Overall, I would highly recommend it, just bear in mind you get what you pay for.
