Even though the overall length was the same as the old shifter cable on our 2005 C6 vette, the length of the section that attaches to the shifter cable was too short. Could not get the car into low gear-and one of the plastic parts on the cable cracked so couldn't return. We ended up spending the extra for an AC Delco and it works perfectly.

Quality is poor at best. Snapped in half. Actual cable is fine but plastic housing around cable is junk.

Everyone who has a C6 knows that after 10 years the shift linkage goes to hell. Sooooo this garage repair is inevitable. That being said. Go ahead and purchase the bushings also. Part # 14041 & 14055. Depending on which end has deteriorated. The console or transmission end Only because the bushings ther came with this particular shift cable didn’t fit quite as snug as I wanted All n all good product. But. GET THE ADDITIONAL BUSHINGS

2003 C5.....148k...first time for cable to be replaced and it was both bushings missing and a snapped cable.. WTF Mr. GM? SO FAR THIS WORKS FINE AFTER A WEEK.DAILY DRIVER. NO FEAR. NO BRAINS SOME WOULD SAY! Good luck with installation. If you know an adult with child sized hands ask them to help install. Trust me. Tight spot where the cable attaches to bracket inside gear shift abyss/hole, it's about 6 inches back inside that hole. Easy peasy, not.One month later: May 6th.....no problems and I been driving it every day! Still, it's made in China. Ouch9 MONTHS post installation and not one problem with gear shifter cable....I'm no longer hauling hydraulic jack in my trunk...that ended after 2 months of worried driving. All good
