OK I love this thing. Although I'm probably not the target demographic as my day consists of more copy and paste than actual data entry. I love the click of the buttons, has that old feel. Much faster than the cheap one I had before and smooth. Wondering what I need to write off the cost of the keyboard now.

I purchased this mechanical wireless / wired Num Pad because my keyboard does not have one built in. In addition to the keys, there is a small multi-function dial that can easily control the computer's volume.The box the unit arrived in is of high quality and contains the numpad (which includes a rechargeable battery), USB cable, a key puller tool and a few spare key switches and keys. An easy to read instruction guide is also included. Everything in the box was in mint condition.The SetupThis mechanical number pad (numpad) works out of the box with minimal setup effort. I connected it my Windows 11 computer using the included cable. * Tapping the calculator key instantly shows Windows' built in calculator. * Pressing the Num Lock key puts the keypad into number mode. * The other keys have intuitive expected calculator functionality.I discovered that holding down the Fn + 1 key (for about 2 seconds) makes the keypad discoverable as a BOYI TD31 Pro-1 Bluetooth device so the numpad can be used wirelessly.If a computer does not have blue tooth, there in an included USB adapter and a so the unit can be used wirelessly. Boyi has free downloadable software that enables additional configurations for the lighting and numpad macro setup which I have only briefly used.The build quality is very good and the battery enables a totally wireless usage.It is apparent to me that a lot of thought went into the design of both the keypad, its built in firmware, and its components (switches, keys, RGB lighting, case and key layout).In summary, I am happy with this unit. It is a handsome piece of equipment and the mechanical keys have a good tactile feel and are satisfying to use.Overall, I feel this keypad along with its free downloadable software provides me with a better than expected experience.PSIf you're considering this numpad, be aware that the included keys are not shine-through keys and therefore some ambient light is needed to see the darker key's lettering. Of course, the key caps can be easily swapped out for other keycaps.
