Every conceivable environment has been thrown at the locker by development engineers and customers and the Aussie Locker gets them where they want to go, every time. The Aussie Locker is the result of attention to detail not previously seen in the industry. Special steel alloys for maximum durability and long life, proprietary manufacturing processes, unique heat treatment procedures and 100 percent quality audits with electronic microscopes result in every locker providing unmatched reliability and performance. No air lines to leak, break or compressors to fail, no cables to fray, no electric wires to break, the Aussie Locker gets you where you want to go, with maximum traction performance. You get 100 percent traction performance rather than 40-60 percent with a posi or Limited Slip Differential. And with the unique construction and manufacturing process the Aussie Locker delivers this 100 percent traction year after year after year. No degradation over time like some other products out there. And the Aussie Locker can be installed by the weekend mechanic. If you can install a set of brakes you can install your Aussie Locker without any specials tools or training. The No-Nonsense Two Year Limited Warranty has no restrictions on tire size or horsepower. The Aussie Locker is designed to hold up whatever you throw at them, time after time.

I will start by saying that if you use whatever vehicle your considering an Aussie locker in is a daily driver with mostly pavement driving, an Aussie locker may not be for you. They do make a clunk sound on tight corners during pavement driving around town. I knew what to expect ahead of time and my Jeep isn't my daily driver anyway. The traction it affords off road is mind boggling. Disclaimer....always try to have tires that are up to the job of what you plan to do. That said, it was amazing all the places I could go in 2wd now that absolutely required 4x4 before. I can easily see where a person in a 2wd SUV or pickup could tackle so very many things you would normally need 4x4 to take on. I'd read about them and heard about them but never dreamed what a huge traction difference the Aussie locker made in my Jeep.

(1998 Jeep XJ 4.0) I have had this brand locker in the front and rear of the Jeep and I have had no issues for what I do. They are rock solid. I would definitely buy over and over again.

I am missing the spacers and the 2 thrust washers. How can I get these so I can install my locker?

At first I thought what a cool product, however after using it for a while, I started to notice the Wear and tear of my jeep tj is quadrupled in every way. Every thing started to deteriorate, like: Bushing, suspention, mounts, hub bearing, axle mount, comfort, tire use, engine mount, everything. For example the last thing made to say enough is enough was breaking my axle mount from its core due to frequent locking and unlockings of the locker.Overall I wanted to say, you are not saving much, because you are buying a cheaper locker but your wear and tear will make you to spent more mony to maintain them. You mighy aswell go ahead and spend litle more money from the beginning and get a proper locket that you can lock and unlock and avoid all the discomforts and extra labor.

Put this locker in my 1997 Jeep TJ. Took it out in the mountains this past weekend and got through snow that I would not have gotten through before!!!

Take your time and do things right. Great locker and extremely easy to install. I’m super happy with the quality and the versatility for the price, just leaving work the other day after about 200 miles of break-in I decided to give her a little send and she locked right up and squealed tires. On the trail it’ll help you up anything an open diff would limit you from, just made easy work out of an obstacle I couldn’t complete with my open diff. Worth the price for an amazing improvement in capability.

Ease of installation, any diy person can install this locker. Works smoothly and with the right tires on the rear you don't need 4wd. I am very impressed with it on my 95 yj.
