Super easy install and immediately fixed all issues I had w the TV picture and the audio. Today, 55 days later, had a lot of issues I used to have.... it eventually resolved with resetting a ton of connections.... but it could mean the beginning of the end of this bulb. Time will tell...

First time I went with an aftermarket part instead of original equipment part to save a few dollars. It was not worth it. This bulb produced a bright picture for about 20 minutes until it overheated and my Sony TV turned off suddenly leaving a flashing red LED. I had to reset the power by unplugging TV, disconnecting any HDMI devices. After waiting at ~10 minutes, I was able to turn on TV. The bulb overheated again after a few minutes so I ended up reinstalling my old OEM bulb and TV was fine.Don't stray from original equipment Phillip's brand bulb, pay the extra bucks ($20). I wasted $57 on this generic bulb that doesn't work! Too late to return.

This lamp is exactly what I needed. My picture on my Sony was getting to dark, adjustments would only brighten but lost the definition. Lamp was easy to install per my Sony instructions and works perfectly.Saved a lot of money being able to replace myself and don't have to buy a new TV.
