Perfect for the particular Job [Sewer uplift] and kind of dimensions I was looking for.It is extremely powerful and I didn't need that much power so havign the same in 1/2 HP would be good option if vendor have. It does the job in almost no time although I am not a fan to utilize over-power devices

My last sump pump was skinny compared to this one. It took a little modification in the hole I put the sump pump in, but we figured it out. Pretty easy to install the plunger part, works really well. My basement is pretty much a dirty floor, but with a lower level hole dug, this works great getting almost all the water out of my basement. There is still always some standing water in the hole from the legs of the pump, but that's OK as it's only in 1- 2 square foot hole rather than my whole basement. Seems to sit of and turn back on well, and I'm using a netted filter to ensure nothing too big gets into the pump, though it says it can take bigger particles. Ghostly this one will last longer than the rest, I've had 1 last a couple of years, but for the most part I've replaced it every year due to sediment buildup.

This pump is well built, very heavy duty! Has a nice stainless steel pull ring on top, and stainless steel allen screws on the side. the rest of the body looks to be cast steel with thick paint. The threads are cut well, and easily accepted my PVC fittings. (to vinyl discharge hose)Worked well with no leaks, although I ran mine totally submersed. Float was easy to attach and worked well. No complaints on this item, 5 stars! Thanks.
