I haven’t tried this in a real world scenario yet, only at home. So far it feels like it is sturdy and works as it should. I imagine it will work as well as an other figure 8 I’ve used. Definitely worth trying as it is low cost.

Nice brighter blue color. No sharpe edges. Makes a sturdy and strong impression. Rope slices easy thru it and when put weight/ load on it holds it and doesn't bend or deforms. Weight is actually 127 gr.

The color on the belay device is a bright red, so you wont lose it easily. It is well built and very solid. The configuration makes it easy to use and setup for climbing and rappelling.

Yes and no. "yes" the item was exactly what I wanted and ordered. "no" it didn't arrive when expected, it arrived way sooner than expected and I'm 100% satisfied.

I ordered this as a backup stopper in case my belay device ever fails and works perfect for that. I don’t notice any extra weight in my dump pouches so weight on this is pretty much nonexistent when thrown in with all the other climbing gear in those pouches. I just wish I had a different color.

I have no reservations about using the YAPJEB Figure 8. It seems just as well-made as higher dollar, name brand products. I planned on buying from one of those companies but after watching that guy on YouTube who tests climbing gear with hydraulics and drop tests with weighted dummies, quite often the no name stuff performs as good if not better than the big names. FWIW, I don't rock or mountain climb. I'm ≤25 feet in a tree so should I have a mishap the load is nowhere near the rated limit, and I use a prusik backup.
