After unpacking and assembling this mixer, my general impression is it should work fine. I like the 3/4 horsepower motor compared to the 1/2 hp motor offered by most of the competition. My only reservations are the tubular frame seemed a little flimsy and I’m not sure I like the swivel locking system on the stand, which is simply a bolt pressure fitting to the frame?? I will update this review in a few months after a couple hundred bags run through it.

This guy is a workhorse, I've ran approximately 150 bags of concrete with no issues. Assembled in 1 hour . I load 2 bags at a time this seems to be the best mix for capacity , strong motor easy to maneuver. ..

Excellent product did 3 12×6 slabs 2 60lb bags at a time home depo wanted $80 for a rental I have 2 other smaller projects to do this was a great value and has already paid for its self in rental fees/gas and time.

First off I used this to pour a 15' x 12' patio and it did a great job. I did not have any performance issues at all. The only reason it gets a 4 star is because it says in the description that is a 5 cubic ft mixer and I'm sure is. But don't be fooled into thinking that it will mix 5 cubic ft at one time. In operating condition this is a 3 bag mixer at 80 pound bags. Anything over that will overflow the mixer. All that said, this is a great mixer for the price and I do recommend it.

This mixer is heavy duty, was easy to assemble, and is very easy and quiet to use. I bought this to mix animal feed, not concrete, so my rating is based off of that. For mixing feed, it has been great. Can only mix batches of about 100 lbs without overfilling the mixer, but it mixes pretty quickly, so that wasn't an issue to me. Don't try to move the mixer once it is filled, it becomes top heavy and can tip over fairly easily (oops). If you're looking for a quality mixer, and don't want to break the bank, this is the mixer for you.

I was very disappointed with my experience. The box arrived in good shape, I spent about 45 minutes assembling the machine. Everything seemed great, until I turned it on.. It made a terrible noise as soon as the power was flipped on. I immediately shut it off and started to investigate.When I looked at the motor itself, the problem seemed easy to spot. It looks like there is a missing screw or shaft in the center of the motor. The fan inside is spinning loose and rubbing against the motor housing.My initial reaction was to contact support to see what could be done. I took a photo of the motor, to show the issue. Then another of the side of the mixer to get the serial and model number. When I looked at the photos my anger started to rise. The mixer itself is supposed to have a 3/4 HP motor. However, the motor is actually a 1/2 HP motor.I contacted Amazon support, who put me on hold to contact the manufacturer. After several minutes the Amazon rep came back on the line and stated the manufacturer offered no solution and Amazon is going to refund my money.Now I get to spend another half hour breaking the mixer down again and attempting to get all the parts back into the box for UPS to pick up it. Not what I was expecting when purchasing a "new" item that was fulfilled by Amazon.

Works good but NO it doesn’t take in five bags of 50 pounds bags. You can only use 3.But works good. After while you been using it it will be harder to pure out because of bad design.

I bought a smaller mixer from a major hardware store on sale for more money. It came in a carton box which was destroyed in shipping. I exchanged and got the same type of broken shipment again. At that point I returned the order and got this unit from Amazon.So the first thing to say is that this unit also came in a carton box and was not palleted. However the carton box was only a bit banged up but no holes and no major destruction. This mixer is fairly light (the drum and the body can each be easily lifted by one person but the assembled version is a bit too heavy for lifting by a single worker). The internal packaging was good and I saw no major damage except a tiny bend to the drum where it did not matter. All items were clearly marked and I assembled the unit by myself easily.The unit turns smoothly, is easy to move around even when full and easy to load/empty. I put it through three small jobs so far, about 20 bags of concrete total. I use two bags at a time and it has not squeaked once yet. The motor, the gearbox and the mount all seem to be very robust. My only complaint is that the paint inside the unit started to chip during cleanup after the third job. In any case, I am impressed.
