Easy to setup, works great. I setup multiple water detectors in the house after a flood in the bathroom that did a lot of damage and the auto water valve has already saved me a lot of damage because 2 of the detectors have alerted me with leaks in the last 3 months and did an automatic water valve shutoff. Protected areas are under all sinks, refrigerator ice maker, toilets, under the end of the bathtub, water heater and behind the clothes washer.

I already had several Yolink products including the water sensors so this was a natural smart home add on. Living in a codo where our rules state that any time we're out for the day or several days we need to shut down the water, it also made sense to look at devices like this. Unfortunately, this unit does not play well with my valve. It's a RED_WHITE NSF-61-G. (see pics). The part where the handle grabs onto the valve is very thin. When I used the adjustable adapter, it just kept slipping off. I contacted Yolink support and they indicated that my valve was "uncommon" (I suspect they meant it was not a metric standard as it is made in the US). They suggested I use an alternate product, the Yolink Bulldog and offered to exchange my unit for that free of charge. The Bulldog (img 5) grabs onto the handle as opposed to integrating with the valve stem. This is a somewhat less "elegant" solution, but it means there's a lot more opportunity for adjustment. It now works and I've integrated it so if a water sensor detects a leak, the water is shut off. Excellent customer service from Yolink! Be sure to measure your valve stem before ordering and if your valve stem connection is very thin (like mine) search Amazon for Yolink Bulldog for an alternative solution.

Easy to install...less than 20 minutes...need to also order the YoLink hub.Pairs well with Flume 2 Water Monitor for automatic shutoff in the event of a leak.

Integrates with yolink water leak sensors seamlessly and it works really well. Wish I would have gotten one of these sooner. Super easy to install!

Used with the sensors all around my house under all of my water fixtures. Sinks, toilets, washer, dishwasher and water manifolds inside 2 walls of my house. I’ve had 2 slab leaks which lead me to the idea of a way to shut off the water to the house when a leak is detected. Works like a charm. I also use the valve to shut off the water to the house when going in vacation via my iPhone app. Easy to turn back on as well. I got the sensors with audible alarm.

YoLink smart water Value was ease to install. Work as it should and provides insurance against any major damage it can cause with major water damaged due to damage pipes or water heater fallers. It took less then 15 min to install on existing water value. The app is extremely helpful and connects all different devices and work seamlessly. Based on our experience we are planning to order many more other devices from YoLink to automate some of the household areas specially security of the home.
