The socket doesn't fit over the series 60 cam stud. I was able to drill the center out with a drill press.

Testing tool in actual application for what they say it will do. If you bought one then you know what i am talking about. Socket does not fit over stem of stud and will not engage hex on stud

I made the mistake of buying this without reading the reviews first because I needed this socket right away. Despite all the bad reviews this company continues to sell this worthless socket. The hole in the middle is not drilled out big enough to allow a stud to go through making it not work as intended. I needed a quick fix because I still had to get the job done, rather than ruin my drill bits by drilling out the center I cut the 12 point part off the new socket and welded it to a cheap socket I had laying around and problem solved. I hope the seller sees all these reviews so they can stop selling this or fix the problem.

The bore between the 1/2" square drive and the 12 point 12mm drive end is to small the the bolt to go through. The purpose of this socket is to reach over the stud to the 12 point drive below. An obvious quality control failure. Going to have to try to bore the center of the socket as I don't have the time to order another and find it has the same issue.

This will not work for what it’s intended, it will not remove the end cam cap studs because the hole in the center of the extra deep socket is too small to fit over the stud, completely useless for its purpose!
