You can smell these as soon as you open the bag. I'm a huge fan of how fragrant this tea is! My first cup had nothing added except a small amount of honey. It was delicious, and the caffeine boost was long-lasting. I am coming back for more!

I love this tea, it's the perfect extra boost after/in addition to my morning cup of coffee. This is my favorite of the flavors, but they are all good. It's cheaper to subscribe directly through the product's website and you also earn rewards (and still get free shipping)!

Tea was really good

This is a fantastic product. Great taste. It doesn’t need any sweetener if you can take your tea in that way. Solid caffeine content. We used to get this tea in loose leaf form, which was fine, but the bags are so much easier.

*edit* I recently purchased the superberry samba green tea, and the flavor was great, as usual! I drink it once in the morning and once in the afternoon for a good hit of caffeine. If you've never tried zest tea, this is a great one to try as it is mild and fruity, but not tart. I've been drinking it for about 3 years with no plan to quit!*I have bought this tea monthly for the past couple of years, usually either superberry samba or blue lady. I've always loved it, as It has gotten me through a lot of long days with 4 kids ages 7yrs to 8 months. It has always tasted great and given me extra energy without jitters. But this past week, I've bought 3 different bags, and all of them have a really strange smell and taste that I cannot stomach. It's kind of a menthol and chemical-like flavor. It isn't expired or anything, but maybe it was stored badly or just a bad batch? I don't know. I hope it's figured out somehow because I really miss the good stuff. I still have 4 kids. I need the caffeine, guys!!

Not a researched product.

I've found something that gives me energy! Coffee gave me nothing. Plus, as I aged coffee was bothering my stomache; even cold brew. So I changed to drinking tea. Tetley Orange Pekoe is my favourite tea by far. But this Zest Tea tastes good, although fruity like, but more importantly for me, gives me energy. More on flavor and my energy experience at the last of my review. The shape of the tea bag is perfect for brewing. The tag releases easily. Just be gentle. I've never had a bag rip. These people that have commented about the bag tearing must be ripping at the tag like a monster. The tea bag "fabric" itself is stronger than a paper tea bag, yet more translucent. So, this is how I've learned to like the flavor better. I have found that I prefer it best by adding 2 little pieces of a Hershys milk chocolate bar into the hot water, (stir it in), before adding the tea bag. I brew it for 5 minutes and then add a little bit of milk. I drink one cup of this tea and follow up with one cup of Tetley. I did try having two cups of Zest for a couple of days, but it's pricey so I went back to drinking just one a day. This is how it has affected my energy level. I have more energy in the full 24-hour-day, not just after the few hours following my tea-time. Absoluteley no jitters OR heart palpitations even on the days when I tried two Zest cupfuls and one cup of my regular tea. (In the earlier years of my life, 20-45 yrs. old, I was very prone to heart palpitations.) I am now 62. Go figure. I'd say, give it a try. I'm sure that like everything else we take into our bodies, it affects each individual differently. And as I mentioned, in the aging process our reaction/experience can be totally contrary to when we were younger. This review is from myself, a woman who was diagnosed with bi-polar and clinical anxiety/depression decades ago. I hope this helps some people out there!

Nice tasting tea and good pick me up

After trying this tea, I've seriously decided to never drink highly caffeinated drinks again.. at least for a while. First of all, I know caffeine doesn't exactly work WITH our bodies to help give us organic and lasting energy, and it can either give you headaches or rebound headaches. There are many reasons why people love caffeine but there are also reasons why it drains our minds and bodies... This caffeinated tea made me so sleepy that I couldn't keep my eyes open!My health situation is not typical, but I'm always looking for natural ways to enhance my cognition, energy, and general wellbeing.I deal with chronic fatigue and chronic pain, and caffeine is actually very counterintuitive in terms of addressing those important issues. But I chose to ignore that glaring fact this time.When I saw this Blue Lady Energy Tea by Zest Tea, I was enticed. I went back to look at it a few times before taking the leap.I was hopeful, and I was also being lazy by imagining that more caffeine would be somehow helpful to me. I love tea and herbal tea in particular, so I thought that at the least, I'd enjoy the taste and experience of drinking this one.I opened the bag.. and whoosh. This indescribably rich, super sweet, fruity scent filled my nostrils and my eyes widened immediately. Whoa. This tea smells incredible and full of zest. As i continued inhaling the potent aroma with my nose in the bag, I began to feel a little lightheaded and actually got a headache.This tea is extreeeemely aromatic and sweet, which made me a bit uncomfortable, because I tend to look for the most natural products I can. And this intense scent didn't seem all that natural to me, despite the fact that there are actually natural ingredients in here.I sometimes get specific headaches from strong smells, like chemical perfumes or cleaning products. This tea definitely smelled great, and mouth watering, but it was a little too great in my opinion. Since I've begun cutting down on sugar more and more, I really notice the super sweet things.Although it may sound weird, this tea made me super drowsy and sleepy. I'm not just blaming the tea, I think it's just due to the high caffeine content. The caffeine just didn't jibe well with my system, which has happened before.It did taste good, although once again it almost tasted too good to be true. I don't know what all of the "natural flavors" consist of, but wow it packs a punch.I believe most people will enjoy this tea, but the thing that kept bugging me was the glue. There is a small oval shaped spot of glue that attaches the square paper on the end of the string to the actual teabag.All the teabags are loose in the larger, resealable blue bag. So it makes sense to not get the strings all tangled up. But it also means I'm drinking a small smount of adhesive... and the paper part easily falls into my mug... which has more gluey stuff on it. It's not like a big gluey clump or anything big. I think most people wouldn't care too much about it.But because of my health issues, I really don't care for ingesting even small amounts of weird, synthetic ingredients like glue. It's probably not going to harm me too much, but I just can't help being very conscious about it every time I sip the tea or detach the paper from the bag.I can SEE the subtle oval glue marks.If you're looking for a caffeine high without having to drink coffee, and you like sweet, bold tasting teas, this one is definitely all that. The floral, super fruity, lively smell is so intoxicating that it gave me a headache, and the taste is definitely delicious, but it put me to sleep in an uncomfortable way. My body just felt weird from drinking it.So you can see why it wasn't the best choice for me. But it may work fine for you. It could become your new favorite tea, although I generally prefer the much cheaper bulk tea leaves.Whatever you decide, if you do get this, I still hope you enjoy it. ♡Update: I've grown to like this tea. Its fragrance and strong floral taste is hard to avoid. Early in the day, when I lack energy, I usually avoid too much caffeine simply because a crash is too much for me.. but I've gotten used to this tea and its zippinessn and I don't mind it anymore. I take L-theanine and Ashwagandha and other very grounding supplements that work synergistically with this delicious tea.
