This little dummy battery draws power from USB-C power source, which is very easy to find now-a-days. This makes it so much easier to power different video and photo equipment. This cable is made with quality material, don't feel cheap at all. Hope it will with stand the use over time.

Not much to say about this power cable other than it WORKS! Very well too. It connects to my BMPCC 6k (original version) and sends a true 12v/2a of power from any battery source that can send 12v consistently. Because I own zgCine V-mount batteries, the color of this cable in conjunction with my other batteries looks really good too. I have zero complaints about this cable.

This is a very nicely made cable. Its flexible and soft. Easy to rig. I dont currently power my cameras with USBC and have no intention to, but I do use Sony NP batteries on a variety of NP battery plates. I have had a few of these just up and fail on my during a shoot, so I started carrying a spare plate. These days, Im shooting more cameras on each shoot, and rather than taking more spare plates, tossing this cable into my camera bag guarantees any of my NP batteries with USB C connections will still be able to power my camera. Its also good in a pinch to be able to power the camera from a portable power bank. This cable provides great peace of mind and works perfectly.

Without the battery cells in it, this dummy battery feels very lightweight, but hopefully still robust. When using it in my Sony ZV-E1, I don't get any sort of battery warning like I do with my 3rd party batteries and this lets me shoot all day without having to swap them out. The cable isn't super long (~2 feet), so you can't put a battery in your pocket and plug this in and have it reach very well, but it's great if you're on a tripod or rigging up for video work and have a plate with USB-C output. The bright orange makes it easy to see in a bag or sitting on a table somewhere, so I do like the color choice. At only $35, I feel like this is a great accessory to keep in your camera kit, as it's relatively affordable and offers a lot of convenience in certain situations.

This unit works great for powering a couple of old FD Mavicas I own. It slots right into the battery compartment, and most have a flap to let the cable out. My cameras gave no errors and treated it just like a full battery. The cable looks removeable, but sadly it is not. Unfortunate, because it's pretty short, but you can use extensions if you really need more length.Mine is a slightly different design than pictured, but that's good. There's an extra 'chunk' taken out of it along the back edge of the battery, to allow the cable more positions to thread out of the battery door. If it didn't have this, I wouldn't be able to close the battery compartment on my FD75.It is a slightly tight fit, but not enough that I'm concerned anything would break. This unit will request 9V from a USB PD source. I also tested with a USB-C to USB-A adapter into a Quick Charge power supply, and found it can also use QC 2.0 to request 9V, very nice. All of that aside, it just works. Build quality is also great. The cable is a bit short, but that's not a huge problem and may be an advantage if you mount a battery bank to the bottom of the camera. I can't give it a perfect score because it's ever so slightly larger than an actual battery, but otherwise it's great!

Having had battery failures in the past causing leaking / damage, I much prefer to use dummy batteries. It worked well for my 7D, with the cable fitting perfectly through the dummy battery cable run on the battery cover. Good build quality, fair price. No issues with inconstant power. Recommended.

Got this for my BlackMagic 6k, and it fits perfectly. Easy to use. Quite a short cable, but perfect for my needs. No issues with power dropouts or disconnects. Price is reasonable. Recommended.

The cord is comically short if you're using it for something like a slider, I figured you could swap it out with any other USB-C cord but it's attached

I recently got the Zgcine USB-C PD to FZ-100 Dummy Battery Cable (60 cm/1.96 ft), and it’s been a game changer for my video shoots. With an output voltage of 8V/2A, this cable allows me to power my camera continuously, so I no longer have to worry about running out of battery during important recordings. The braided wire adds durability, making it a reliable choice for on-the-go use. It’s easy to connect, and I love that I can focus on capturing great footage without constantly checking the battery level.Overall, the Zgcine Dummy Battery Cable is a must-have for anyone looking to enhance their video production setup.
