I purchased GR800 keys from three different Amazon sources however, two of which were sold by Easy Keys, Inc.:-- Pictured Center --1) Replaces Speed Queen Washer and Dryer Key GR800 AP2402824 647110 M404608 for Commercial Laudry Appliance Meter Case Lock - Brand: YAFIYGI (Sold by: xiamendasuwenhuachuanmeiyouxiangongsi).This is a poor-quality key because it is cast, not cut. This key did not work as shipped, but I was able to turn the lock with pliers after I used jeweler files on all the inside and outside contact surfaces of this key to remove burs and pours left by the casting process.-- Pictured Left --2) Speed Queen Commercial Washer and Dryer GR800 Lock Key, 1 Keys (GR800), New Replaceable Fits Washing Machines Dryers Silver (GR800 Key) (Sold by: EasyKeys Inc.)This key is the one being reviewed. It was maddening when the card reader at our apartment's laundry room wouldn't read any of our cards but the machines were perfectly operational.This is little do dad came in handy and saved me from having to take my clothes to and actual laundromat.Best 5 bucks I ever spent.

I bought this because Rice&Reem’s review featured the same exact washing machine I’m dealing with. The key didn’t even fit in the hole let alone turn actually unlock it. It’s possible this product used to the correct one but no longer is. I strongly encourage everyone scoping reviews to consider this one a dud; either outdated, wrong or misleading. Considering the mostly poor product reviews, consider this part of the consensus to avoid this product.

Did not work on my Speed Queen that specifies it needs a GR 800 key, model # 54612. Fits into keyhole but does not turn. Other GR 800 keys worked, not this one.

Worked on the Speed Queen washers and dryers in my apartment building. Be careful when you flip the lever inside the electronics box to start the unit. On the older washers, it seems possible rotate it incorrectly (backwards) and break the timing mechanism--or at least to push the lever into the opposite orientation, causing the coin tray not to work-- as it will no longer be activated by the movement of the sliding tray. The building called the mechanic or washer owner, or whatever, but I was able to stealthily repair it right before they got there, so that was funny. They literally walked in as I tested the repair with quarters. They were like "Hrm... must have been the breaker." LOLOL!! Yeah dude. "It was the breaker, alright." XD Anway, I ended up telling the building manager that I have a key--full disclosure--because he's a good dude and hates the evil owners of the place. He was mildly concerned at first, but then immediately raged at the building owners for not giving HIM a key. Evidently he's been dumping quarters into these laundry machines for 22 years. So I showed him the link to the key, he bought one, and now he has also shaken off the yoke of apartment-coin-laundry price gouging. If you have a speed queen in your building or need to get into the control box of one, this key is a good bet. This DOES NOT open the coin-hopper. It does not allow you to collect the money from inside the machine--which is not why I bought it. The coin-box is just a separate pad-lock, and can be any lock that fits the holes, so there is not a universal key for that. It does however allow you you to get into the electronics and mechanics box, which of course, allows you to turn the lever to start the cycle. One final warning: All of the machines in my apartment building are from different years, so the button/lever that gets activated by the coin-tray can vary widely. You'll need a few seconds to determine how the coins activate that specific unit. Good luck.
