Our 12yr old daughter is about 57" high and we ordered the 38"/96cm poles for her which seem to fit well for her. This poles are made of a nice graphite carbon composite and are really light. The grips and nicely formed to fit specific hands (left and right grips) and the straps are easy to adjust with velcro. My daughter's hands get cold easily so she usually uses mittens. The straps on these poles are very easy to use with mittens as they stay open. They are priced on the higher end, so hopefully they will last. We did notice that the wording on the pole scratches pretty easily after one fall. Overall we do like the quality of the poles.

As described. Top quality ski poles that have held up well after 20 days of skiing. 100% recommend.

I just got these new ski poles, and I must say I'm thoroughly impressed with them. These poles are significantly lighter than my old ones, which is really nice, especially when you're lugging all your equipment back to the parking lot after a full day of skiing. The weight difference is amazing; it feels like I'm carrying almost nothing at all. Now if they could just make boots this light. The handle design is incredibly comfortable to grip and fits in my hand perfectly, gives me a sense of control and confidence. The tips also have a unique shape and made of Carbide which should help it last. It appears like they're designed to effortlessly dig into the snow, making them ideal for various skiing conditions, including man-made snow, which is typically harder and typically what I ski in. I can't wait for the season to begin.

Ordered these poles in preparation for ski season. After last season I came to the conclusion my beat-up, bent aluminum poles were done and I needed new poles. Well as ski season is rapidly approaching I found these poles and I am thoroughly impressed. These pole are featherweight compared to my aluminum poles. My only concern about ordering online was were these pole to long or to short, using the sizing guide on the order page I was able to determine the size I wanted to order and pulled the trigger. When these poles arrived I immediately flipped them pointy side up and measure the angle, my elbow was almost exactly ninety degrees and the sizing is right on. These poles will see a lot of use this year on the slopes and I have no fear they will hold up in all conditions.

I'm an avid skier usually getting anywhere from 40-60 days in per season on Colorado mountains and overall this is a quality set of ski poles. They are super lightweight, but actually have a lot of sturdiness to them similar to an aluminum pole so they hold up well when you put weight on them or make tight turns. The height was accurate and as expected. The handles are ergonomic and easy to grip/hold onto. The overall look/design of them is pretty slick and clean too. The tip of each pole is star shaped and seems to grip the snow better than a regular pointed tip. It also does go in easily and the poles stand up straight despite technically being more flat in shape. The couple downsides i've found were the straps and basket size. The straps are the main reason i took off a star. They look/feel clunky and cheap. While the velcro makes them easy to adjust, i generally find once i've adjusted a strap i rarely ever touch it again so it would be nice to have a minimalist mechanism rather than this really big piece of stiff velcro. That's also one of the issues is the straps feel thick and stiff because it's the really thick strap material + a long layer of velcro sewn onto it and then that's doubled to stick to each other. The straps are also oddly curled up where they meet rather than being flush which maybe is an ergonomics thing and to let your hand slip in easier, but I didn't seem to thing either way would make a difference when using it. I rarely use straps anyway, that fact that it's stiff and bulky is a bit annoying but also i don't really want to remove it either in the few cases i need them. The basket is also a bit small. It's fine for groomers or hardpack but the second you get a powder day or even just get into some untracked terrain these aren't going to be as helpdul.Verdict: Great poles, especially if you ski less snowy mountains or stick to groomed or packed trails. Straps are your call based on how you use them.

The first thing I noticed is how light these poles were - easily less than half the weight of my old aluminum ones. It's not that poles are that heavy anyway, but I do like how they feel. I tried bending them a bit to check out the flex and they seem relatively stiff - which is what I want. I imagine with the kevlar they will be pretty tough as well. The poles have a molded grip with a strap - they fit my hand well. The basket at the bottom is on the small side - which is fine by me. The tip has a star shaped point - it will definitely grab ice if you need to.One thing I like is the velcro strap - it makes it very easy to get it just the length you want, as opposed to a set length strap that you need to twist in order to tighten it up. Lastly, they look great! Thin, sleek, black on white - they look like a serious piece of equipment. They are a little on the expensive side, but if you're a serious skiier then you're used to paying for what you want. And once you try these - you will definitely want them. I think that makes them an excellent value and can't wait to put them through their paces in a couple months.

The circles at the bottom are not as good as I would like and the poles give up being as heavy duty and sturdy for their being lightweight as they are. Overall not to bad but I have seen better an was hoping for more. they look good if only they were made to be as good in quality as they were good in the looks...A not-too-bad choice for amateurs but I think pro's would want something more to say the least. I think this might be a good purchase for someone trying out skiing to see if they really like it or not.Good day & God Bless...Randall M. RueffK9RMR
