Wow, this is definitely a sweet brake upgrade for my bike! It did take some time and effort to install the system, but the end result was worth it for sure! All the components are well made and high quality, and they fit on my bike without any issues at all. Without a doubt, the braking power is now much better than ever before with this system and has been functioning flawlessly to date! I think this is a great product for this price point, so I would not hesitate to recommend it with five stars all the way!

I got these on one of my bikes that Ive been working on.Finally upgraded to oil brakes and its all the difference.Very nice stopping power with a lot of improvement over the cable brakes.Excellent set up.I was even able to trim the cable to size with out any issues. If you do it right you dont need to refill and re pressurize the line.Overall its a great upgrade kit for most bikes

I got the Zoom hydraulic brakes for a trike that I am working on. It came with caliper brakes, and I wanted to upgrade to hydraulic brakes. At first glance, the Zoom hydraulic brakes are nicely machined and finished. The rotors are smooth and true. The rear mount attached without any trouble. I am setting up for two rear wheels. So, I will need to modify the other mount. The brake levers are aluminum not plastic. I did a test with the caliper on the rotor. The caliper gripped firmly. I have been waiting on other parts to finish the build and will update when I get to really test the brakes fully.

This is a nice kit - break levers, hoses, calipers and disks all ready to go.The hydraulic parts are all completely assembled and filled with fluid - no connections to be made or filling and bleeding the system.Action is smooth and handles are comfortable. If everything lines up with your existing brakes, this is straight forward to replace...Build quality seems good and the tube lengths seem generous. Brakes work fine.

This is a preloaded system ready to use. Easy to change out and has a power off sensor.

This is a great upgrade for safety on e-bikes. After riding it for about a year, the stock brakes on the e-bike were feeling loose and no longer worked as well. Since they needed replacing anyways, I figured upgrading them to hydraulic brakes might be a good idea. I was surprised how easy this kit made that process. You need to add a little bit of work and other parts, but this comes with the main lines ready to use. I thought hydraulic brakes needed bleeding and pipes, but this was pre-bled, so all you need is to hook up the lines, no bleeding or refilling required. And it works very well, you can sense far more grip from these brakes vs the old mechanical kind. Especially since e-bikes tend to be heavier, and their handlebars can turn violently on hitting something, it is important to have good braking power, and this makes you feel safer, and wasn't a painful install as feared at all. Nice set

I bought a cheap e-bike with mechanical disc brakes and had problems from day 1. I am so excited to replace those with hydraulic. These were a direct replacement for the cheap mechanical disc brakes. The electrical and hydraulic cables are a little bit longer, but not enough to cause a problem. Since my bike was still fairly new, I did not even replace the discs. The performance difference is night and day. I'm not sure if all hydraulic disc brakes are dual caliper, but my old mechanical ones were single caliper, and that was one of their main problems. Hopefully these will last, but for now I am extremely pleased with them. Word of caution: if you take the mounting bracket off, note its orientation first. I think they can be flipped to accommodate different size rotors, and the position they ship in is correct for 160mm rotors. It took me a while to figure out the proper orientation to get the brake pad to ride in the right spot.

My GoTrax e-bike came with mechanical disks, and a heavy e-bike needs quality brakes for the best performance, so I got these to replace the stock mechanical setup. It's a smaller e-bike so I figured a 2-piston caliper would be sufficient, and it is. On my (much) larger e-bike, I have 4-piston calipers. The switchover of brake systems is pretty involved for most e-bikes, so be aware of that. First, you'll probably need some extra zip-ties. Second, you'll be cutting a LOT of zip ties just to get the old system off. I've done more than a few brake jobs on bikes, but a complete brake swap for an e-bike takes me a good hour at least, maybe 2. It's a decent amount of work, but the payoff is spectacular. If you've never done one, give yourself the afternoon and hope for the best, lol. This system is excellent, and not having to bleed them is just sweet. The modulation over the mechanical system is night and day better. If you have a mechanical system and were wondering if hydraulic is worth the upgrade, I can promise you 100% it is. And the price is a fraction of a full "Big S" system. 5 stars.
