Best to buy this name brand item, I tried another cheaper kit and it never sealed. You get what yo pay for.

Item is of good and reliable quality. Thou I didn’t use it since it was the wrong kit for the valve that I was suppose to have

Bought to complete repair leak. Contractor said parts were not available and said he had to cut it out and replace the entire assembly. Was able to order and repair within 24 hours of him saying that. Backflow tested and passed.

Great kit! Every part fit. Directions were clear and complete. They even included a small packet of grease for the o-rings. When I dismantled my device, I found a shattered poppet, which made me glad I chose this kit rather than the one that only had seals and springs. The only thing I would add is a small, flat tool to remove the seal seats. I think it’s sold separately.

Perfect fit for my valve. Rebuilt the entire valve in about 15 minutes. I had a leaking valve, this took care of it.

It works good. Sealed the leak. A guy told me that I may need to spend $2500 to replace whole backflow devices because of leaking. Now, spent just $350 and taken care all backflow leaking with inspection cost covered

I watched some videos before working on my 975. I took it apart first and discovered a split in the plunger and worn out "O" ring so I got the whole kit. Works great. The amazing thing about this experience is that I sent an email to ask a question and got a fast answer. Why is that amazing? It was a Sunday!!!My only suggestion is that with the complete kit Zurn should supply a cheap cast wrench to work on the seats instead of having folks figure out how to make something work. Charge $5 if need be, not $25.

I rebuilt my Wilkins - 975XLC with this kit. I used a box wrench in the middle of the seat instead of the ones they sell to remove the seats. It worked fine. I live where the water company inspects it annually and the whole thing is like $ 197.00. This was less expensive and the parts are perfect.
