This worked as a replacement for the igniter in my Raypak pool heater but the wiring was too short. Had to cut and splice another foot of cable into it.

The Spark Lead (White Wire) is not long enough to travel back through the hold ring as well as the wire guides into the control panel backing. If you run alongside the mounting bracket and directly through the firewall grommet, it does have enough slack to plug into the control board, but it is not perfect replacement. It really needs just 6 more inches of slack. This is why I took 1 star off my rating. Pool Heater lit on the first spark after installation, for that purpose, it worked great.

I felt compelled to write a review because I nearly did not order due to no existing positive reviews. I recently fired up our Rheem (Raypak) pool heater (266A line). It was failing to light consistently, and it turned out the existing igniter wire was frayed and the inlet gas line had ruptured. There are many "exact fit" options out there, but the description said this would fit, it was inexpensive, and had overnight delivery, so I tried. While it installs a little differently (180 deg diff), it still works exactly as it should. The igniter lead was a little shorter than needed, so I simply clipped the old wire off and added a spade connector. This has the added benefit of eliminating the need to open up the control panel if/when I need to change the igniter again. Definitely recommend!
