Worked great on my 2002 mazda b3000 truck (small cab), no concerns with strength of the cables and was fairly easy to install, only concern was one cable length is longer then the other meaning one cable has all the weight (not a huge issues as they still perform great and fit great) the height of the tailgate is very good, and I would highly recommend!

Used on tailgate of 2000 Ford Ranger. There appears to be no difference in right vs. left as OEM would be. That does not interfere with installation. While advisable to repair cables in pairs, found that one side less taught than the other. This is likely an alignment issue with my tailgate, not the cables. Just be advised.

They were easy to get on after a lot of trouble getting the old ones off. They are working just fine look like they will to the job !
