Not a bad cable otherwise, but I imagine most fords between 1980-1996 will probably have the issue of the holes being too small for the bolts on the tailgate. Just widened mine with a drill, not the biggest inconvenience, but something to be aware of.

The hole on the tailgate is too small had to drill it out with 5/8 drill bit. I made the adjustment and they work great

Said it fit 93 f350 and does not. Cables are to long and the eyelet is to small to fit the bolt in the tailgate through.

The cables are about a half inch longer than factory size. Tailgate sits at a slanted position when open. I also had to drill the hole on one end out a little bigger. Made them work but definitely wouldn't buy again for my 96 F150.

Got these for my 95 F150, the hole on the tailgate end is about .5mm too small, had to use a dremel to open it up and make it work.

Straps are shorter than original, mounting holes are too small for the pivot bolts and clip isn't correct to latch on bedside

Cost and delivery in quick time frame was good looks like a decent replacement part however the holes had to be drilled out to fit my tailgates hardware. Not a direct fit

Disappointed, the Factory tailgate bolt has a spacer. The aftermarket replacement purchased through Amazon does not fit inside replacement cable end. Additionally, the cable is half an inch longer which doesn’t sound like a big deal, but it means that the rear tailgate will not be level with the bed
