The inside diameter (clearance hole for collet nut) measures 1.040 inches (26.42 mm). The outside diameter of the knurled retaining ring measures 1.377 inches (34.97 mm). The outside diameter of the male threads measures 1.175 inches (29.85 mm). Length of male treads is 0.830 inches (21.8 mm). total height each bushing is 0.729 inches (18.52 mm). Product is okay and will do the job. There was quite a bit of surface scratching/marring on several of the bushings. Shipping was a little slow.

Both threaded rings spin smoothly and easily onto every bushing. Two bushing snapped immediately into my Porter Cable plate. The other pulled in completely with a hand-tightening of the ring. These is the type of bushing set with uniform length guide tips for each diameter. They are about 1/32" shy of 1/4"--perfect for most any template. A bonus is the case--sturdy with a real hinge (not a one piece lid/body that will break off in time).Though I didn't measure all diameters or out-of-round parameters, I bought these after reading satisfactory measurements from those who took the time. Highly recommend, especially for the price.

Pretty nice set. Tried to fit them into the acrylic router guide for a Milwaukee Trim Router (2723-20). It did not fit. Luckily tossed them onto my lathe and re-machined the outer lip down by 0.040" radius and then it fit perfectly. Also fits my Porter-Cable Model 1001 Router Base.

I needed router bushings to cut out a template. I wasn't looking for the most amazing bushings on the market, since I rarely use these, I just needed something simple and affordable. These worked great and they come with a variety of sizes. For the money they were worth it and I will probably make use of these more often now that I have this set.

Surprisingly high quality template guide bushings, especially for the price. They're substantially less expensive than several other brands with a uniform 1/4" guide depth. The guide portion of each bushing is 1/4" high (actually 0.215"), allowing for the use of 1/4" stock such as masonite or melamine coated hardboard (to allow the router base to smoothly glide) to make templates.Out of round is under 0.002" for any given bushing. The threads are cut cleanly and the ID is correct for each bushing.Although the country of origin is not stated on the box, from the quality of the machining I would judge that they are most likely made in Taiwan. (To be specific, they don't have the telltale signs of a product made, say, in the USA or Germany, but the uniformity of machining makes it highly unlikely they are made in China).EDIT: I called the company and they indicated that they are, indeed, made in Taiwan. As these are brass, they should not suffer from corrosion issues in the long term.I'm quite satisfied with these bushings and would definitely buy them again.

There are two distinct kinds of routing bushing template guides. This is one type, the type that a uniform guide height for all bushings. The second type has a guide height which varies in increasing height as the diameter of the bushing increases. Both types are useful, depending on the routing template task at hand. This routing bushing template guide kit works well and as I mentioned it is the uniform fixed guide height type which I prefer most of the time. I do have the other type which I prefer for certain router template jobs.I don't understand the previous 1 star rating for this kit. However it is important to know how to exactly center the router base which accepts the bushings. This is critically important and is done which a router base centering tool. When exactly centered the router base must be firmly secured into position. Then the bushing guide can be installed and checked to confirm its exact centering. These bushings install into any router base which accepts Porter-Cable standard router bushing guides, which many but not all router bases accept. Most routers allow installing a base plate which does accept these bushing guides.
