These are a good size for storing seeds. They are just slightly bigger than a credit card. The bottom flap is glued well with no gaps. The top flap is not gummed though, which is disappointing. So you will need some method of securing it. I used tape. I'm not sure if these would be reusable. That just seems silly. Just toss it in the compost when you're done with it. So if you need gummed envelopes, I would look elsewhere, but if that doesn't bother you, these are pretty decent.

They're actually a very good paper weight, a little heavier than printer paper. Once the top is folded down the envelope measures 2 3/8 x 4 inches. This is smaller than a commercial size seed packet, but a good size for me since I place the contents of one item (seeds from one pepper or one tomato, for example) into one envelope for better record keeping. These envelopes do not have any gum or sealing mechanism on the envelope. They are folded without sealing. For using as a gift, a colorful sticker would make for a nice presentation and keep the envelope closed at the same time. Contains 100 small envelopes.
