This is a review for: " 100ft Ball Bead Chain, 304 Stainless Steel, #10 Bead Chain for Roller Shades, Window Blinds, Dog Tags, Jewelry & DIY Crafts (4.5mm with Spool and Ball Chain Connectors)"This is supposed to come on a roll with a plastic cellophane type wrapping and it also comes with some links for cutting your own length of ball chain. It's #10 so the balls are about 1/8", maybe 3/16", fairly large compared to ball chain necklaces or ones you might find on keychain nick knacks. I had been eyeing getting a longer version of this say 250ft for a geocaching project. I specifically wanted stainless steel due to how I was going to use it but for hobby where strangers could steal or damage it I did not want to invest a lot of cash. That's where this fit in. 100ft is a decent amount of chain. A lot of what I looked into were sections of joined shorter chains but this isn't.I did not test the weight limit of 45lb but I pulled on it and it took it. My roll arrived with an end broken off and the chain roll in a knot which took quite a while to unravel and untie but once I got it undone it was a nice long solid chain. My project you ask?...I want to build a PVC void in the ground with a pipe sticking out of the ground. What I am picturing is a 3-4" diameter piece of 6" long schedule 40 pipe with an end cap, a 4" reducer down to a 1.5" 48" long pipe. The big end buried underground with only the small pipe sticking out. I have an old telco marker and I want to slide the orange hat over the small pipe above ground. The chain will attach to the cap then you will need to pull the 100ft out until at the very end is a geocaching Bison tube with log then you have to feed it all back in as found. Just a fun little project.. This will server as the main piece of my project.

Worked perfectly to replace a broken pull chain on my ceiling fan/light. A bit more than I ever needed, but now I have extra in case I need to replace again in the future or for any other misc projects I might need something like this for.

If you're looking for a tiny bead ball chain for your key fob this is not it. While this chain is not petite it is very strong and suitable for many purposes. I got it to put on the pull switches of my shop lights and it works perfectly. Could also be used on flapper valves or anywhere you need a sturdily built ball chain.

Perfect item for using on the outside of stained glass panels to add reinforcement and visual interest. The chain is super long and flawless. It's also useful for hanging stained glass items as the balls can easily solder onto lead came or copper foil.

This chain will work great for blinds as stated in their description. It seems quite durable with a nice thickness and fine finish for pulling blinds open/closed. It comes with closures if you wanted to use it for tags or jewelry; however, although it is good quality, the thickness of this chain isn't quite the best something like key chains and necklaces unless you are looking for something more "chunky". I was hoping this chain would work for "dog tag" style necklaces but the size of the balls is a bit too large and clunky. So, if you are looking for ball chain for DIY jewelry I would not recommend this size. A good buy if you are wanting replacement chain for blinds.

Stainless steel #10 ball chain still have more than a slight magnetic pull. Itโs still better than a USA made product that claims its #10 ball chain is Stainless steel. I returned the USA made chain because it rusted outside in 4 days and had a stronger magnetic pull than this Chinese made chain. I live in the mountains and not by the ocean. Only time will tell if this Chinese made ball chain is better?

The stainless steel ball chain arrived with the spool completely broken and a tangle of 100ft of ball chain to unknot. I wish I was done getting the knots out but itโs going to take a lot of time. The ball chain is stainless and seems to be fairly good quality. The size is larger than what is normally found on window blinds or dog tags. It might be a bit large for necklaces or other jewelry. I am adding short lengths of ball chain to a large craft project and it looks great so far.
