  • For the larger SPS, we're including our 7" Heavy Duty Cutter (BS70). The blades are sharp and the leverage this tool offers is incredible. Place the blades approximately 1/3 into the SPS stem you'd like to frag, give it a quick twist/compression movement, and you'll have the perfect frag cut!
  • Fragging smaller SPS pieces or need to get in at an angle? No problem, we've included our curved 4.5" medium duty coral cutter (BSS45) for just that! This tool helps negotiate densely branched SPS and helps to make even more precise cuts.
  • Need to frag softies? Your kit includes our 6" Coral Cutting Scissors(6SS). These coral scissors precisely cut through Toadstools, Mushrooms, Leathers, and Zoanthid mat giving your new coral frag the quickest healing time possible.
  • We've also included 10 General Scalpel blades (B10) with Scalpel Handle #3 (27) to assist in scraping loose frags such as Zoanthids or Ricordia off of their rock and
  • A microdissection scalpel (52) to assist in those hard to reach places. It works great to help extract nuisance algae as well bubble algae.
  • When you've got your new frag and are ready to place it on that rock or glue it to that frag plug, you'll be using either the 6" Forceps (19) or Microdissection Forceps (18) to make placement a snap and keep that glue off your fingers.
  • All of this is included in an easy to carry pouch designed for this kit.
  • Care: After you are done fragging, rinse off your tools in fresh water (to prevent chemical residue andamp; superficial corrosion), dry them off, and place them in your pouch. You'll know exactly where they are the next time and not have to go hunting for your fragging tools anymore!

This kit has been great for removing corals from frags or cutting the frags down. Even any pest control/cleaning/maintenance, the picks, knives, and cutters have been a great addition for keeping a reef tank.

Great value for the price as all parts appear to be well made and cutting edges are sharp.

Super pleased! The big bone cutters will cut the stem off frag plugs and leave the disk. Will make fragging coral so much easier! Made if surgical steel so super easy to clean.

The kit I recieved was in a black holder which I liked more than the one pictured. The tools seem like they were very high quality for the money. Used it in the salt water and rince in fresh afterward. The tools did not rust. I highly recommend this set for the beginners in fragging.

Pros: super strong and sharpCon: start to rust over a few months, even if cleaning after uses.Other than that, it's a great kit.

My set came in a black case just like the one that was pictured, except it was black not green(better in my opinion). Everything was in brand new condition. This kit was a lot more than I expected, it has a surgical grade feel to it, not cheap like. I have already fragged some hammer coral and it worked perfect. If you want a great frag tool kit get this.

Seems like a nice, class A product, but I haven't used it yet. Instead my review is about the condition the product came to me in.My product from TB Aquatics came unpackaged (only the US Priority Mail envelope). I received a hot pink cover for my tools and the cover has what appears to be bleached marks on it. They are faded in streaks. For a new item, I expect more: i.e. a box or package sealing it, assuring me it's new and not used; neutral colors-i.e. black, brown, or at least more representational of the displayed photograph: army green; and the quality of the product to appear new-i.e. no bleached streak marks. As stated in the beginning, I haven't used the item yet. So I don't know about it's function, but the product came to me in a very poor condition, in my honest opinion.
