- Always keep your Jewelry in a clean and dry place. All Jewelry are subject to tarnish, this is mainly caused by humidity or chemicals reacting with the alloys in the jewelry which can cause discoloration and stains when worn. Some of our pieces come with a small antitarnish tab which helps protect the jewelry, you can keep these in the box during storage. We strongly advise against wearing your jewelry during showers and while swimming, as the chemicals in the water are likely to be corrosive
- Other common causes that can tarnish and dull jewelry are makeup, soap residue, lotions, skin oils, perfumes, even perspiration
- Diamonds, Gems and other stones can also be cleaned using the same mild lukewarm solution, soak them for a few minutes in the solution before cleaning for a better result (Do not soak Pearls)
