I put these to use on the railing on the top deck of my treehouse and so far they have been great for that. I do have concerns about the strength of the connection point between the bracket and the ring but they have held up so far. The finish is a black powdercoat that should resist tough Idaho weather just fine.

I like the practical design of this corner ring! They are very strong and I have attached to the inside of the dock posts. So far so good. The screws that came with them are fine but I did substitute for longer 3.5 inch screws to use for my pontoon. Just to be safe. If using just for hanging ropes or tying up a small lightweight craft or other items, the screws that came with the kit is perfectly fine. Do recommend and may get more soon for underneath the edge of the dock to clip minnow bucket or fish ware.
