Unfortunately after 3 tries I gave up because there was too much trimming involved both length and width ways and I couldn't splice it thin enough to use on my clarinet. Very disappointed.
Cork strips to short

Width of cork and thickness is fine for upper and middle joints but too short on the bottom joint for the barrel. I guess I’ll have to try and glue an extension to make it fit.

Bought this to fix the cork around the connections for all different sections of clarinet (my daughters) and worked perfect! I just used fast setting glue and then I used a sandpaper to sand do spec. This was easy and great product.

Purchased these to recork a clarinet. Had to trim to size and sand down quite a bit but turned out great!

If you are going to use this product, you need a quick setting glue. I was unsuccessful in installing one of these pieces of cork on the mouth piece of my clarinet. I ordered cork pieces, with self adhesive backing from another source. The cork with the self adhesive backing was much easier to apply.

I made them work by using my dremel to thin them by half but before I was able to glue 1 in place, I had broken 2 because they were so dry.

Perfect as far as width and enough extra for the length. It was a little thick but I was able to file it down with some sandpaper.

All the cork pieces are the same length and they aren't long enough to wrap around the clarinet, nor are they even wide enough to fit around the part of the clarinet I need to repair. Cannot use these.

I ordered this set to replace the corks on my wooden Czech-made clarinet (it's rather old). The cork itself is fresh, supple, flexible, does not crumble too much either; sands easily (I used 220-grit sandpaper). Two of the corks (on the upper tube) were a decent fit, leaving less than 1 mm of the cork groove uncovered and long enough to provide overlap. The very bottom one (between the lower tube and the bell), however, needed to be wider, more than 2 mm of the groove was left uncovered, and the diameter of the barrel is larger so that the cork had to be stretched a bit and glued at the short side. That bottom cork left me thinking that the next time I should get a sheet and cut the cork to the exact width of the groove instead of using pre-cut pieces. The thickness was right, I only had to sand it a little, not a whole lot. Any thinner sheet wouldn't do.There are two pictures in the description that don't belong. One shows some brass pipe wrapped in a wider piece of cork, another shows a round piece. There was no round piece in my "kit", and neither will any of the pieces fit around a brass pipe like it showed on the sixth photo.Overall, I think it works as intended, but do measure your instrument before ordering, just to be sure.
