A spinnerbait is a simple fishing lure, with a straight wire, a spinner blade, a balancing weightage and a hook. The blade spins around the wire to create flash and vibration. The spinners can have many different kinds of blades that are suitable for different kinds of conditions, shape round or willow with silver, gold color or a variety of bait fish colors like with rainbow trout pattern or high contrast patterns. The spinnerbaits are especially effective in streams where casting along the edges of the current or along rocks and other structure.
Spinnerbait Round Blade
Gold spinner blades are generally best in stained or cloudy water while silver blades do best in clear water. The high contrast patterns like the black spinners are commonly thrown in low light conditions where the contrasting bright and dark areas are easily seen against the water and vegetation.
Spinnerbait Willow Blade
A willow blade creates less drag and allows spinnerbaits to run deeper in the water. It's a good idea to use willow bladed baits when targeting fish that are hiding out down deep. A bit of weight can be also added ahead of the spinner to help it round even deeper.
Spoon
As the name suggests, fishing spoons are metal lures shaped like an elongated spoon. The concave side reflects light, while the convex side is smooth. This shape causes the spoon to wobble and flash when retrieved. Some spoons have a painted or plated finish for added attraction.

This is a cute basic spinner bait set with a variety of size and color spinners. The colors are all stickers and my ODC does not like the fact that most of the stickers are not centered on the spoons. But for the price point they are worth it.

I got these rooster tail type spinners because I've never used one with a bell for the body before and was intrigued. I definitely like how well they are assembled, with 4 spoon blades and 6 willow blades, sharp treble hooks, brightly colored feather trailers on 4, and strong wire, wrapped to hold the lure together through heavy use. I have cast one bell spinner and it got a few near misses, but the fish were trying to stay out of the sun-heated water, and not biting well. I did catch a large bluegill on one of the smaller spinners, so I'm convinced that they will perform very well when we get a break in the weather. Excellent product!

I have really enjoyed testing out these fishing lures. We have a large irrigation pond on our family farm that has smallmouth bass in it, but I havenβt finished in it for quite some time until I got these lures. I was pretty happy when my very first cast caught a bass within a couple of seconds. To my surprise every cast after that either caught a bass or got a bunch of hits from the fish biting but not getting fully hooked. I couldnβt believe have much response I was getting from the fish. Obviously the bass were very interested in the appearance of these lures and were eager to bite. I like the color and designs of these lures and the results speak for themselves. However, I will point out two things I noticed. First, the designs on some of the spinners are actually stickers, not paint. I noticed because the sticker on the one I was using had some slight wrinkles in it. They have been working great so far, but I worry that the stickers will fall off after repeated use. The second thing I noticed is that the tails on this spinners are not durable. After a little bit of fishing the tail feathers were quickly getting pulled off by fish bites and me pulling milfoil off the lures. I was a little surprised how easily the tails came off. I have had the tails come off of other more expensive lures as well, but not usually that fast. It didnβt affect how many fish I was catching though, so I guess I canβt complain too much. But those are the reasons I canβt give these lures a 5-star review. Like I said, the fish are definitely very interested in these lures so I wouldnβt hesitate to buy them again, I just wish the tails were slightly stronger and that the designs were stuck on/painted more permanently. Overall, though, I would say this set is a good value and offers a good variety of lures that should definitely work for you.

My young niece and nephew have just started to really learn fishing skills, moving beyond putting paste on a hook and drowning bait. This selection of spinners has been a great way to let them refine their casting and retrieving with something that doesn't cost a bunch, but still works for trout and bass.

These are larger than what I expected, but will still work for the fish Iβm after. These will work for pan fish as well as the bigger breeds. The weight and quality is nice. They donβt tear up easily. The stickers on the flats are bright and reflective.

A nice selection of spinner baits for your freshwater fishing needs. There's not a large range of sizes, but just enough variation for you to select for bass, larger panfish, or whatever you have in your local waters. Latch-able plastic box with 5 slots to keep them secure, but it's a bit small for 10 lures (2 per slot). They tend to tangle in there easily.All the lures seem to have a spinner and a "clacker" to get both visual and auditory stimulation out there to attract the attention of your potential fish fry. All have a single treble hook as expected. All are sharp with reasonable barbs to retain your catch without too much damage to the fish if you plan to release.Nice variation in spinner colors and designs, and some have dyed natural feathers on the treble hook for additional color in murky water.Pleased with purchase, and looking forward to getting them into the water!
