One of the lights on the track are out. I have to shake it to make it work. Faulty product. Now I have to pay my dopey contractor to fix it. Poor product.

The lights are perfect for my use. I need a lot of light in my office. I mean A LOT. I would be embarrassed to tell you how many lights I have. From the desk to overhead to camera lights.... Well, I've got a lot. Between video and work needs I can't seem to get enough light. I've got a green screen for video conferences and it needs to be lit pretty well.I got this kit and purchase the H-track and power injector separately on Amazon. Everything works. It turns out that these little spots are too hot and focused to aim at the green screen, but when I aimed them strategically at other areas of my office...wow! I did not realize how dark it was there. Oh, and there! Even when I aimed it elsewhere there was enough spillover light to help illuminate the green screen better. Problem solved. And, problems I did not know I had solved.Since I wired this in directly there is no wall switch for this unit. If you don't have a lighting track already then you need to be comfortable with wiring and attic work to do it yourself. Better yet, hire an electrician.The remote is the perfect solution for me and offers enough adjustability and fine-tuning to make the lights useful for a number of different scenarios. I can adjust for reading, computer work, videos, and more. Color temperature, intensity, and more. It is an RF remote, so you don't have to aim it at the lights. This is an important feature. With the 3 lights aimed in different directions, an IR sensor would need to be 360 degrees and even then the lights might get out of sync. With an RF remote, they do NOT get out of sync. All the lights respond immediately to adjustments made with the remote.These lights work completely as advertised. Do make sure you have or buy H-Track rails, as that is all they will fit. Turn off the breaker before working on any wiring or installing the lights. Or, as I mentioned, hire an electrician.

The lights in this set here are nice, come at a good range of light and fit well in the track in terms of connection points and dim just fine and in line with my other light sets. While the set does not come with any track sections the price per unit in this case is a GREAT price and worth picking up. The remote is a nice touch but not necessary really in my application.My goal recently has been to build up a nice layout in my garage with track lighting over the last year and so far I’ve definitely hit the goal for total lights needed but now the hard part is here and that’s trying to lay things out with an optimal design from a light, power, and overall aesthetic perspective as my garage ranges from some word working and auto tool areas, a big tool box, and the other side (2 car garage) where I have a power lifting rack, bench, dip station, pull up, dumbbells, etc… and so I’ve been tinkering with lighting a bit and I am now working on a good track layout so I can get the lights to just the right spots and its worth nothing not all lights are equal, some have a higher focal point, some are clearly brighter, some dimmable, etc, so it’s a challenge to someone who can be a bit OCD on things.In short, I’ve bought a few different lights now, all same voltage, and for me I enjoy the options and ability and flexibility of different lights and all on the tracks as this works well for me and since this is in my garage I think it kind of works and if per say I am going to sell the home in the future I can always remove some of them so its just one type or leave it as to me this is a big improvement over builder grade and really allows for a lot of light and customizing and for a garage, depending on the person and the use, it really might work great.Overall I can say I am pleased with the look and feel of this, rather large, unit and so far everything has been easy in terms of installing and clean up. I will try and post more over time if I can just to share how everything holds up should something change but for now it was a nice buy and worth it given how easy the install was.

I'm testing side-by-side with another set of 3000K LED fixtures (and comparing to some halogen fixtures), and these lights are not 3000K - they're much too cool for my use. In addition, they don't dim properly. I'm using a Lutron dimmer that can be adjusted for LEDs, and as you dim these, they go off dramatically at about 20% reduction - they're acting more like nondimmable LEDs than dimmable. They're made OK, and the electrical connection is stable, but the color temperature and poor dimming make them unusable for my use. These LEDs seem to be about 4500K, so if that's what you want and don't need dimming, these could fit your uses.

These adjustable LED track lights look great in my kitchen. They put the light just where I needed more light. Installing them on the H-Track was about as easy as it gets; they twist into place. If you need to reposition them, pull down on the square base to unlock them and turn 45 degrees. The instructions are easy to understand. Please pay attention to how the contacts are aligned with the H-track, or they won't work. The light beam is 24°. The fixtures come with LED bulbs installed. However, I had a couple of bulbs that had come loose, but it was easy to reinstall them. The bulbs are held in place with a spring clip. Each fixture is ten watts, so they don't generate much heat. They are dimmable, but I don't have them on a dimmer yet. The fixture housing is powder coated and well-made. Very lightweight. Conclusion: I could not be more pleased with the light fixtures; I appreciate the clean-modern style. These are less than half the price you would pay in a blue big box home center. I see no reason not to rate these track lights at five stars.
