Oh, have I found a real treat for my latest mosaic art project! SMEIINIK's 1.1 lb kit of iridescent mosaic tiles has exceeded my expectations in every way! With 180 pieces of glass mosaic tiles, each measuring 3/4 inch square, I have a treasure trove of vibrant colors to work with. This is a nice set of tiles, and look absolutely beautiful when they're shining in the sun as part of an art piece. We used ours with quick set cement to make stepping stones for the garden and they're beautiful.

I have mixed feelings about this mosaic tile. The tile has a lovely look to it. The coloration is unusual and somewhat dynamic with its subtle variations. On the other hand there was a lot of tile dust in the bag and some damage to a fair number of tiles. I do not feel that this was a shipping issue, but rather a manufacturing one. It really is a shame because the tile is lovely. I will make good use of the majority of the tile and am pleased with it. I feel that this could be a good buy if you anticipate small losses. Hopefully my package was just a fluke. I would give it a try again.

The tiles were packaged loose in a plastic bag so some were chipped. We used them for a (child's) tiled trivet craft and were happy with the color choices to match our room. They are 3/4" square and about 4mm thick. The ones that weren't chipped are beautiful and worked well.

The tiles were packed loose in a plastic bag and several of the tiles have tiny chips on the corners. As a mosaic artist, I cut all tiles with wheeled cutters so this is not a problem.There is a very slight difference in color to the tiles which makes a nice finish to projects.The veins of metal in the tiles is subtle.The tiles cut crisply and accurately.
