Great kit for random needs or jewelry assembly. Several sizes and the container is very durable and not flimsy. The rings are a little sharp on the edges but not surprised since I wouldn’t expect expert cuts on such a cheap product.

I'm not sure why the coating is even there, but its horrid. I've used and had coated metal in jewelry before and it had SOME sembelance of durability. The coating on these just came off within a day of wear. It got all over me, and the jewelry. I may as well have melted the coating off with acetone, except I didnt. It just touched my skin. Beneath the coating is a simple metal colored jump ring, but the black coating is more than useless.

I really need black jump rings for a necklace I was making with a black chain. I bought black "coated" wire to make my own jump rings and the coating all chipped off. I did not have that problem with these. It was nice that they came in a variety of sizes and all were separated into their own little sections. I would recommend these.
