I used this replacement starter solenoid on our swisher 16 horsepower field mower. The mounting base was a little wider than the original solenoid, it still mounted and worked like the original equipment. It took about 30 minutes to install and our mower was running like a champ. The solenoid seems to be well sealed, so far there have been no signs of water intrusion from the rain or snow. For the cost compared to what was available locally, this is a great value.

This solenoid fits and works like it should, this solenoid does not use the mounting bracket for ground and does require one of the small signal terminals to be grounded.
