The frame was exactly as seen and described on Amazon Website. I wanted to have some blank White area around the picture to get the attention on the picture. very easy too put together. It was the right frame for the picture. Good quality. I like it!

I used to purchase frames by AmericanFlat (sold by Amazon), but after several shipments arrived with broken glass (replaced by Amazon) I looked for a new option. I wondered about purchasing a brand named "Smashed Banana", but the frames exceeded my expectations. The shipment was extremely well packaged/secured by Smashed Banana, and thankfully the Amazon box was not much bigger. The frames had two mats, including one that allows using/printing your photographs on 8.5x11 paper. I use premium glossy photograph paper, and make certain to choose "high guality" printing via advanced options. This is a very nice framing option, not museum quality, but easily high quality and worth displaying on the wall. Although I chose standard white for my matts, a number of other color options are available. Good product, and I will repurchase.

I got these frames for some Maynard Dixon prints I bought recently (The Forgotten Man and Free Speech, if you care about that sort of thing). They came really quick, and the glass was in great shape on both frames. One of the frames had some damage on the corner, which showed that the finish isn't the most durable and the frame construction is pretty light, but I got a refund really quickly, and have found another solution for the second print. The mat sizes are what pushed it back up to four stars: Both of my prints were in slightly non-standard proportions, but one mat in each size was absolutely perfect for each of the prints. They're definitely worth the money per, even considering the damage to the second frame.

I got four of these in brown for family photos. Color was true. Quality of manufacture was acceptable for the price (manufactured wood as described). As a bonus, if you are using them for 8x10 photos, you can keep the larger mat in and have a double matted photo without the extra cost. This gives more seeming depth and a classier, professional look. My only minor complaint is that you need to spend and extra 3-5 minutes each cleaning the glass and removing several small manufactured wood particles so that they don't show up on the matting or you pictures. I used compressed air, non-acidic glass cleaner and paper towels, then finished getting dust and paper towel particles with a microfiber cloth. Glass is better than plastic, but these are not polished at the edges, so be careful with your fingers when handling the glass edges.

This product arrived on schedule, although the gift box it was in was squashed, and unsuitable for gifting. The frame was not as described in that it had no glass, just a sheet of clear plastic. There was no easel stand, and only one matte. I had purchased the frame specifically as a gift for framing a water colour. The item I received was not in any way suitable, and very over priced.

Only a "fair" level of quality. Because of poor fitting mat, it took effort trial and failure fittings to get the picture proper centred side-to-side and top-bottom. So a bit overpriced. I probably won't purchase again.
