The old unit was just like this, but the pump itself has some issues I was unaware of and burned out the capacitor. Perfect replacement.

Had to replace one that was at least 30 years old that had a different model number but same specs. This did the trick and works great.

It was the exact the one I needed for my well. Only problem with it was the 10 days it took to get it. Every day is like an eternity if you don't have water. But very happy now.

The Franklin Control Box was the exact model as ordered. It came quickly and well packaged. The seller included a note to contact them if we had any concerns or difficulties but, there were noneI priced these at multiple places and this price was comparable.The box is easy to install. Remember to cut power before replacing if you are not having this done by a professional.The Franklin Boxes are durable. Mine is installed in a less than optimal location which is subject to high moisture but, still has held up over the years. This is the third box used for our well with the first installed 32 years ago. The box I recently replaced was damaged when a powerline came down.

This unit worked fine, but I replaced it with a higher end unit that had a reset switch and special capacitor for restarting. I gave this four stars because of that.This unit is very easy to install. It has easy access to the connectors, which is important when working with #10 wire.

This product acts like a Surge Protector it seems for our Well Pump. It is a drilled well so the pump is in the water in the well. But in a lightning storm, it seems, sometimes, it creates a surge in voltage and can cause damage. This product seems to take the hit and in doing so, will not let the pump run. So it has to be replaced which is much cheaper than replacing the pump. This was the third time in memory over several years that this has happened.Replacing it always gets the water flowing again.
