These are 12" LED lights and will fit over a junction box easily.Turn the power off to the light fixture. All you have to do is take your previous light fixture off by unscrewing the screws that attach it to the junction box.Pull the wires out and detach from the old fixture. Put the provided mounting plate onto the junction box using the screws provided or the old screws.Pull the wire through and attach to the new light fixture.Push the wires back up into the box and screw the LED fixture onto the mounting plate.

Easy Install. I cut the power and had to remove the junction box then connected the two wires. When I first installed this the light was electrifyingly bright. My wife remembered this was dimmable. Awesome! I did have to twist it off the bracket again to get behind and adjust the light and WOW! What a difference and there are at least 5 color options, from bright white to a softer or warm white. I am really pleased with this 12'' ceiling mount light fixture. These worked well in a coat closet and pantry.

These are very low profile and are light weight. They look very sleek and are a great replacement for the builder-grade lights in the house. Installation is a breeze and are very bright. My complaint is the location of the switch for the temp of the light. It's on the inside of the fixture, so once it's up it isn't easy to adjuster. Being there are multiple temps to pick from, it's a guessing game of what to use for the specific room and a lot of up and down to pick the right one. Overall, a good value for your money, just be ready to mess around with the temp.

This is the third flush-mounted ceiling light I have reviewed. All three fixtures are working well, so much better than the old-fashioned light-bulb fixtures they have replaced. This two-pack is the cheapest, and probably the easiest to install. I'll link to the other two brands below with comments, but let's focus on the model at hand first. I'm very impressed with the simplicity of the design.Like all flush-mounted LED lights you need to set the desired warmth of the light before installation (from a yellowish 2700K to very bright and cool white 6500K, 5 settings in all). Of the the three models I've looked at, this would be by far the easiest to detach from the mounting plate and change the color temperature.Once you have removed the fixture you are replacing, simply pull the white and black supply wires through the center of the new light's mounting plate and screw the plate tightly into the ceiling's electrical box. I used the existing screws, the mounting plate fit on top of them perfectly. You can then connect the fixture wires to the ceiling wires and secure them with the provided orange caps. As my photo shows, a really nice touch is that the caps can be pushed into two little slots on the mounting plate, keeping the white and block separate. There is no grounding wire. With the wiring now secured you simply push the light itself onto the mounting plate and twist it slightly to lock it into place. Very easy compared to the two other products I've reviewed. Here's why:https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0DHW4YLZK -- this is an excellent product available in several sizes. It's the only one which provides clip-in connectors for the wiring, much more stable than having to twist the wires together. But attaching the fixture to the mounting plate is quite tricky.https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0D2QVXN62 -- this is the only one of the three where you have to stuff the wiring back inside the electrical box in the ceiling. I really did not like this, and twice had to reconnect the wires when they pulled apart. This lamp is arguably the most attractive, with a brushed nickel border, but with any flush-mounted light, you will not notice that if the light is on.As with all flush-mounted ceiling fixtures, you cannot replace the LEDs and so sooner or later the entire fixture will have to be swapped out.. This model being the cheapest of the three I have installed, it will be interesting to see if it has a shorter lifespan than the others. Hopefully it will be many years before I know.

This light was a straightforward install. I picked this light for my hallway because I thought the flush mount would be perfect for the low ceiling, but this thing is super bright on the 5000k setting. It would probably be perfect for a high ceiling, but it's kind of overkill for my space. It's a good deal for the $24.99 list price at the time I bought it.

I got these lights because my hallway, which is shaped like a "T", has always been insufficiently lit having only a single fixture with 2 sockets for traditional bulbs in it. I wanted a flush mount, but slim light that could also put out the same or more light than 2 standard bulbs and these fixtures deliver. The ability to set a range of color temperatures is something I now always look for in LED lighting. All too often these days you'll get something that somehow seems more blue than the listed color temperature would indicate. With color-selectable lighting you don't have to rely on a manufacturer's stated color temperature, you just adjust the light while it's in place. That completely eliminates getting a room that's too blue, or too orange.Installation was really easy, too. Everything is plastic and very light, which is a bonus especially when working on ceiling-mounted stuff. The included wire nuts were too small to confidently attach to my house's Romex but I keep tons of them around the house, if you don't you might want to get some appropriately-sized wire nuts. The included ones look only big enough to handle multi-strand wire.At this time I can't speak to the longevity of these lights, but for now my hallway has never been brighter!

My 92 year old father lives with us and he was saying that the light in his closet was not very bright. Here is the answer! I received the 12 inch LED flush mount ceiling lights and chose the brightest setting and quickly installed it. Very easy to install. These are very low profile. It took longer taking down the old light then it did installing this one. Now everyone is happy and can see! Great price for 2 pack. I even got a compliment from my Dad for being a woman and toting in the ladder and changing the light….it’s what I do…LOL. My husband also gave me kudos for a job well done. I think I will see if the other one will fit in my closet and replace one of my lights as well.
