I got this 12oz Rubber Mallet Hammer because I needed to put a cart together that required a soft hammer/mallet for the project. I thought for the price point this was an amazing find. Overall it's a great one, but compared to the last one I had, that got lost in my move, it is nowhere as thick of rubber on the end. It definitely could use more or have thicker rubber. It's extremely hard and loud which is unusual for a soft mallet. However, the handle is ergonomic with shock absorbing grip so it all balances out in the end. It ultimately worked for what I needed it for. I would recommend this one but there are better options out there. Thank you for reading =)

This review is for the 16 oz Rubber Mallet Hammer with Shock-absorbing Fibre Handle.Campfire songs? Have time? Well, kinda. When we set up camp, we're looking around for rocks or limbs to pound in our tent pegs, keeping us from having time to start a campfire and sing songs around it. OK, it's a stretch, but in reality, this mallet will come in very handy when pounding tent stakes into the ground. The head is a hard rubber, so it should last many camping seasons. I'm happy with this purchase.Am I a satisfied customer? Yes.Would I recommend this item to a friend? Yes.

I got the 16oz rubber mallet with fiberglass handle and aside from the rubber collar where the mallet head meets the handle, the item matches the renderings in the product photos.It's an okay mallet. I took off 1 star because I'm concerned about the quality of the rubber. There are a couple nicks in the edge of the rubber mallet head, and the rubber collar around the bottom of the head where it attaches to the handle was completely detached when I received it.I don't expect it to last forever but at the current price of $7.99, it's an average value.
