These large, durable envelopes are perfect for keeping your monthly bills and receipts organized.They expand, so they hold a lot.The string closure keeps everything contained but isn't bulky like clips. Stack well.Plastic is durable but you can still see thru it to view the contents.

I got these to hold all my receipts and paperwork for the tax year. My family files not only a joint tax return, but a business tax return so we need to be able to separate the two, but still be able to hold all the paperwork needed in case we were to ever be audited. I used to use shoe boxes, but it was taking up way too much room, so I wanted something that I could easily store. These work great. I use two for each tax year and they expand enough to hold everything I need. The tie closure works perfectly and is very sturdy. It comes in a pack of 12 so I will be able to get 6 years worth out of these. These can function fro many other things that you need to store, especially if you need to be able to see what it inside them. I was also able to write on the front of it so I knew quickly what was inside. Definitely worth getting.

We have a large filing cabinet in my home office to store documents and such for the whole family - over 56 years worth of photos, important documents, mementos, financials, and other things. I have struggled to keep things organized in an easy system that allows for quick grabbing and portability.My oldest recently needed all his professional certificates that he earned in his education and then the early years of his firefighting careers. I had them, and was able to get them for him quickly, but when I handed them to him, the papers slipped from the edge of the file folder.I was fresh out of manilla envelopes, so we ended up improvising something for him to take them home.I decided to get these folders to answer that need.I got these and have since used them to store important documents that need to be portable and easy to grab, yet fit in filing cabinets.These folders do that for us.They are durable, a nice sturdy plastic. The securing string can be a bit tedious but it's necessary to have an adjustable securing system because these ARE expandable to more than an inch.I have some legal documents that I need to keep together and accessible, and that stack is more than an inch thick and I was thrilled to be able to transfer them to one of these folders for storage.The surface is washable and water proof.These are totally transparent, so if you want to keep anything hidden, simply slide a piece of paper on top. I do that and then write what the file contents are. Easy peasy.These are durable and flexible and portable. That's what I wanted and that's what these are.They are 13 inches tall, so they don't fit in my standard hanging file drawer, but they fit in my legal size drawer.

This 12-pack of clear plastic envelopes with string closure arrives flat to save space. As you open each envelope, you can pop it out which lets it expand to 3 cm or almost 1.25 inches. One envelope can easily hold over 200 sheets of 8.5" x 11" paper... I'm thinking more like 250. Perfect for holding your book manuscript! The envelopes are 13” tall so not quite sized for 8.5" x 14" legal documents, although you may be able to squeeze them in.I had been storing papers in manila envelopes, but now I like these plastic envelopes better. They’re flexible, sturdy, durable and reusable. They’re transparent so you can easily see what’s in them. They hold more than a manila envelope, and the string closure lasts longer than a metal clasp which tends to break off if you open and close it a lot. Since these envelopes are plastic, they’re water-resistant in case you have a leak in the basement. Also, papers won't fall out or get wrinkled at the edges like they do in file folders. But to fit these envelopes in a standard file box, you will have to put them sideways. Or you can store them upright in a magazine file.These plastic envelopes have many uses for home, office, and classroom! They are great for organizing tax papers and accompanying documents. They are great for storing children’s artwork or homework papers. They are great for keeping travel brochures and trip souvenirs together according to location. These envelopes are acid-free and PVC-free meaning they’re archive-safe for old photographs, newspaper clippings, etc. I'd recommend getting the 12-pack because you're sure to find even more uses for them!

great product to help organize documents and files, love that it is see through enough since i like seeing the file without having to open each and every envelope or binder, very useful
