These candles are okay. The dimensions of the candles are as described. Their claim to be dripless is not. The candle wax did appear to be drying quickly enough when the candles were hardly used. However, by the time you are at the candle's half life, the drippings are already making the way to the floor, or table, or anything underneath the candle in general. There is no scent and they did not appear to smoke excessively which is nice. The other issue upon receipt of the product was what appears to be insufficient protection of the candles while in transit. I'm not sure if this is on the shipper, or the manufacture for not creating more protection in the packaging for the candles, but half of the candles received were split at the middle.

 

🕯️🕯️ These candles were packaged nicely. They’re in a fancy box with a fancy wrapper over each candle. That being said, once they are “disrobed”, they are pretty basic 10 inch candlesticks. I have seen some high-end candles packed with foam around each stick, but the cost definitely reflected that. 😏💰 At $14.99 (on sale at 25% off) for 12 candles, I think these are a good deal. If they go up to the original cost of $19.99, I feel the price is a bit high. You’re paying to have each candlestick individually wrapped in cellophane but I’m not sure it’s worth the cost. I burned them in a room that was mostly wind-free. This is very important in determining whether a candle is truly dripless. (🧐More about that below.) These candles held their own. No drips. They burned evenly and without soot. 👍 The candle I had test-burning next to it, had a few drips from my heater vent kicking on and gently blowing. It’s to be expected, but I was still impressed that this candle stayed completely clean. 🍄 I noticed the wick did have a carbon mushroom at the top. That tells me it’s possible they used the wrong size wick for these. (One gauge smaller perhaps.) Maybe this causes the candle to burn more aggressively and that’s why they’re not getting eight hours out of each candle. 🧐 ⏰ I burned this candle from 10:10pm - 5:00am. Exactly 6 hrs 50 mins. The ad for these candles says it should burn up to 8 hours. I never stopped to blow this candle out. I burned it straight through for almost 7 hours. I think these might last longer if they are burned at smaller intervals and the wicks trimmed between each burn.☝️I’m burning the second candle now and I will update if the time is longer than 7 hours. (✂️I’m going to occasionally trim the wick to get the mushrooms off just to see if it does affect the burn time.)UPDATE: 😳 for some reason, this last candle burned very quickly, and at the last half hour, had a meltdown and filled my glass plate full of melted wax. ⏰ It burned from: 5:10p - 5:52p ONLY 4 hrs 40 mins.(see last pic). Did I get a defective candle? It was burned in the exact area and temperature as the last one. I guess I will burn another and see what the result is.🤷🏼‍♀️ ⭐️ Overall, I think these are a nice set of candles. They come nicely wrapped to ensure the candles aren't dinged up and messy upon arrival. On sale at $14.99. I think they are worth the price since you do get 12 candles. You can be assured they will not drip as long as you aren’t running an overhead fan during your dinner party. 💸💸 If you don’t care much about presentation, I have found some 10” candles, 24 in a box for around $15.99 but they are not individually wrapped like these—they do burn longer and are dripless.🤔 Just a quick word— There is something I need to say about candles and the way we test them for reviews. I see several people giving a bad review and post a candle is NOT dripless. Problem is, I can clearly see in the picture, their flame is not straight up. It’s sideways or moving. This tells me that there might be a slight wind in the room. Whether it be an overhead fan, or a heater vent, or an open window or door, this can affect how the flame of a candle burns. 🔥 If it moves back-and-forth, it will burn the top edges of the candle wax causing a small divot, and the wax will drip. Even the slightest amount of wind can cause the flame to bounce around, which will make a candle have beads that drip down the side. 💨 Candles must be vertically upright and away from drafts which will also cause the flame to burn more vigorously and thus drip. In order for us to test for dripping, we need the correct environment and if there is wind, we need to be honest and write this information. ✏️

These ivory taper candles from PeakPick are nice candles and what I expect to receive when I order 10 inch taper candles. They arrived carefully packed together by the manufacturer so they were intact and unbroken. Trim the wick before you burn lest you wind up with a drip. If you do this, these candles are 95% drip free. Mine have had a couple of drips down the sides after they burn about halfway but I think this might have been due to a draft. The drips did not reach the candle holders or the table or significantly alter the appearance of the candles (I did not have giant drippy wax sculptures sitting on my table).These candles burn cleanly and with little/no smoke other than when they are blown out. This is a good value for nice candles and I would get these again.

These are elegant candles and represent an excellent value. They arrived in nice packaging designed to keep them safe; the first candle I pulled out was cracked, but I chalk that up to the fact that the mailing package from Amazon was a non-padded envelope. I can confirm these candles are scentless, (for the most part dripless) and smokeless. Just for funzies, I timed how long my sample candle burned; it came in at 6.25 hours. She was starting to drip, so I called it with about an inch sticking out of my candlestick. All that said, there are so many varying quality tapers out there, I would re-order these in a heartbeat because they did what they said they'd do. Bravo!

These candles are simply gorgeous! They burn without any mess and don’t produce any smoke, which is a huge bonus. They really set the mood for my dinner parties. I highly recommend these if you want high-quality, long-lasting candles. So happy with my purchase!
