I still have to purchase the actual track in which to hang the lights, but all is well. These were a great deal and they are energy efficient...added bonus is a lower electric bill. They look good too. I really like the black lights. They are very very bright. I have not been able to hang them yet; however, I know they will add a very sexy look to one of the rooms in my new home.

I have several track light strips that have the really large and ugly track lights hanging from them. Not only are they an eyesore, they are also very hot. I got this new set and instantly replaced all my light heads and it has totally transformed my place. I have bright lighting that is clear and inviting and an added bonus is a greatly reduced electric bill as the LED's are more energy efficient and the super win for these is that there is almost no heat coming off them at all. Leave them on all day if you need, it won't add a degree to your interior temperature, which in the Arizona summer is critical to our comfort. These are low profile since they don't have to have the bulky bulb that other lights have. This allows for a very sexy arrangement that does not distract from the room by looking like the rafters over a Broadway stage with ugly lights hanging down as my old lights did.

I bought 24 lights to replace older, flickering traditional track lights. These installed easily into my existing HALO tracks, worked with the slid dimmers already installed. The lights are bright and modern looking. One of the 24 lights didn't work, but I found the bulb wasn't seated in the socket, so that was easy to fix (and I got a quick response from the company when I reported it telling me they would send a replacement before I figured out I could easily reset). All in all, I was quite please with the product.

I wish they tested their products before shipment. 2 lights don't work at all and 2 don't work some of the time. I tried to contact the seller to have a few new ones sent but no response. I really didn't want to send them all back since 8 or of 12 work consistently. I would not buy them again though.

Update 9/29/2024: I've had 3 go out on me so far. The first one, one LED looks darker than the rest as if it overheated and burned out. The next two have no indication that is similar. And after this third one, I wonder about how long these should last. Initially, I only used 8 of the 12, so after replacement, I have one still left as a spare. In all, it was not a bad deal. But for LEDs, maybe they should've used more robust components, over-spec'ed but at what cost? I'm just a bit disappointed that they didn't last as long as I expected them to.--original review below--The first one I installed was a bit more difficult to install than I expected. Trying to twist it in, it had a lot of resistance and I wasn't sure if it actually fit. I had compared the fitting to the old lights and verified they were the "same" but still there was a lot of resistance when twisting into the track.Well, it worked. And the rest were all about the same as far as the resistance when installing. But they all work and hold the angles set. Maybe one had screws a little too loose but finger-tightened and it held the angle just fine.I'd definitely go back if I needed more. The look is similar to some from olden days that used halogen bulbs. But these, even though they look the same, definitely should not be as warm nor use as much power. Who knows? Maybe track lighting will make a comeback with new LED tech. Nah.If you have some old track lighting, as I do, this was a great way to update tech and the look. I'm very happy with these.
