the foam material is realy good and last. I can finished the entire Ford Ranger pickup box with one roller. But I used the second roller for final touch.

These are great for blending in small areas of drywall repair. The repaired areas are often too smooth compared to the existing painted areas. With a little experimenting, you can get a subtle texture that matches the surrounding paint.A side note, they don't hold on to paint like a conventional roller, so they are a lot more prone to dripping & spatters, just be careful, slow & gentle! They do rinse out very easily & quickly.

Be sure to cover all surfaces nearby because there is widespread paint splattering while using this roller.

I applied regular paint to primed drywall, first with a regular nap paint roller and then used this sponge roller (with the larger holes) to get this small perfect texture. It takes a bit of time, at least doubling the painting effort. So to do my whole large master bedroom will take a few days because I am 75 yo female and the walls are 12' high and the roller is short. The result is a uniform tiny orange peel... that's a dime I tape to the wall. The little lumps are about 1/8" wide spots of paint. My paint was not thick. I think to get the right effect the paint should NOT be thick. It dries silky smooth. I used egg shell paint. I would expect the same result with any other paint. The sponges don't hold paint - it falls right out, at least in my small test area using it the first time, so that's why it's best to put the paint on the wall some other way. I'll have to consider using my paint spray. The sponges wash off clean after use very easily, almost paint repellant.Highly recommend if you have the time, esp. for a small project.
