I typically use a floor jack and I was rudely reminded that the jack that came with my truck had become bent the last time I used it, which I had forgotten, which is also ok, because this product wouldn't work on that design that is made to take an open loop eyelet. The only problem I see with switching over to this is that you'd better be carrying the correct size socket and ratchet. My intention is to use it with a stay at home jack and an impact wrench for speedy lifting. I can't imagine this review will reach many people, from the questions I get every time I do any work on my vehicle. I had to use AAA to bring my car home and the dispatcher and driver kept asking me if I was sure I wanted to go to my house. It only dawned on me later that they must not meet anyone who repairs their own vehicle much these days. The look on the drivers face when I started undoing the straps holding the car down after we arrived said the same thing. Relax buddy, it's already here, I could see wanting to strap it down himself before driving, but it's here, safe and sound. You aren't the only one trained and certified on nylon straps. When someone offers to help me with my job I just say "you got that?", I don't freak out on them.

This is such a small, affordable thing that literally saved me hours so far...it works exactly as youd imagine. Its perfect. It came with a locking nut, not sure why, but its awesome as a product. I just changed my brakes and it made it a breeze.Attaches easy, and fits my personal drill.
