I bought these for my student art show, the frame and back of the frame were perfect. I liked the variety of sizes, my biggest issue was the clear sleeves that you slide the work into. They were packages bend in half and there was a huge bend in all the clear sleeves which completely ruined the presentation of the artwork. I never complain but this was extremely unacceptable and disappointing.

These are great for my purposes, but the shade of white is a very unnatural stark cool white…..there is no warmth to it….doesn’t really go well with the Arches watercolor paper that I use for my art.Also not a big deal for me, but the largest size plastic bags that come with the mats were bent in a couple of places by the packaging. If I were selling my art, I would want something better/different, but for my purposes, I can live with the creases in the bags and the harsh shade of white.

I would not recommend these mats - very low quality material. Bags rips too easily. I guess you get what you pay for as the old adage goes.
