First, I ordered these keychains spur of the moment as handouts for an upcoming wedding. Something different, to go along with other gifts. They arrived within 2 days, which was great, since I was on a tight time table. So, let's get to the pro's and cons.Pro'sPackaged nicely and everything is there. The metal keychains have a plastic protective covering on both sides which keeps the items from scratching and such.Really nice size, about the size of a dog tag (military). You could use these to make necklaces, or small identification placards. The finished product has a really deep and gloss look. They really do come out fantastic.ConsReally the only con is that there were no instructions for heat settings, or if you should do both sides at once, or one side at a time. I found a variety of instructions when I googled heat press settings for metal keychains, and the time and temp varied greatly. I went back to my Amazon account and clicked on the order, and I discovered there was a recommended range of time and heat setting, but nothing indicating if you should do them one side at a time, or both sides at once. The initial run I did, I followed the instructions, setting my heat press at 390 degrees F for 60 seconds. I did one side, allowed them to cool, then did the other side. The finished product looked great. The next ones I did, I decided to do both sides at the same time. However, I made a mistake, or so I thought.I was letting the heat press warm up to 390 F while I cut out the front and backs from the sublimation paper and taped them onto the keychain. This took longer than I anticipated, during which time my heat press turned itself off. Not paying attention, I didn't realize the temperature had dropped to 263 F when I started the process. After 60 seconds, I thought it might be best to do 20 to 30 seconds on the opposite side, so I flipped them over and closed the press. It was then, that I realized the heat press was off and cooling down. I left them in for the full time, then thought about seeing how they would look. That's when I decided I would just heat the press back up to the proper temperature and run them again.I did this and when I peeled of the sublimation paper, they all looked great. As a matter of fact, the colors were actually deeper, more vivid on the ones that I made the "mistake" on. The first ones looked great, but when comparing side by side, the ones that I "pre-heated" actually were a little more crisper in detail. So, it all worked out, and I will be getting more!
