Inclosed in the oil container is a sensor that monitors the level of the oil. It doesn’t work causing the alarm to be triggered every two minutes. This is a critical safety feature that is standard with the mercury outboard motors. I need a replacement.

The tank is a good replacement but the level switch sender completely useless have to remove it and replace it with the OEM switch

This is a piece of junk. I made the mistake of buying in a hurry, and not looking at the reviews. Not saying it has to be a OEM part, but make sure to buy something worth your money. This thing didn't work right out of the box.

The bottle is well made and fitted perfectly, unfortunately the level sensor would not indicate the tank was full, we managed to use the sensor from our old tank to get the unit working. In short: product supplied with a faulty sensor.
