There was a learning curve to getting them full. I used them to hold syrup; I warned the syrup to make it easier, the first squeeze didn’t completely fill the pippette. To help with this issue, you can hold the pippette with the small tube facing upwards, then gently squeeze to get the air out and complete a second suction (this will fill it up completely). I hope this helps,
