I used this alignment tool to thread a pistol barrel, and it made the job much easier and ensured the job was aligned with the bore. A must have for barrel threading.

The threads are about .002 .003 small.

This doesn't fit and the thread cutter I got with it doesn't line up with it.

First of all the threads weren’t even close to 1/2”x28tTPI. I had to retread the jig before I could even use it. Once it was retreaded it worked as it was intended to do. So don’t expect to use this jig right out of the box.
