The valve is a little flimsy. I bought as a back up and for the hose. If you don't have this hose when draining ride on tractor oil, you WILL make a mess. it gets everywhere without this hose! Trust me lol. (I.e.) John deere, cub cadet, husqvarna, craftsman etc)

It looked like an original product but it stared leaking right away making a mess! Tried to tighten it a bit more to stop the leak and I was careful not to put too much pressure and the stem broke with the pipe stuck inside the oil drain! All 2 quarts of oil drained out to the driveway making a huge mess! I had to run to home Depot to buy a special tool to remove the stuck broken bit inside the drain, drain off the remaining oil and replace the drain valve with better quality product! I guess you get what you pay for! Returning the broken one to Amazon!

This looks identical to the oem, but the plastic warped and allowed the oil to leak as soon as I ran it for about an hour.
