Used this tube for the phase inverter. Worked great and quieted the high gain amp down quite a bit

my yaqin ms25 phono preamp arrived so i ran it for an hour with the chinese 12ax7 tubes. next I rolled the solvteks into the preamp and turned it on. The left channel went EEEYOWWW POP BANG ! and the tube died. i put the chinese tubes back in and every thing worked. the matched pair are being returned and i am ordering from a different vendor.

Quiet floor, wide dynamics, and speedy. Have nothing bad to say about these tubes. Using them in an older phone stage.

I used these little buggers in a bomber amp and it gave it a very appealing tone highly recommend giving them a try

These are some great pre-amp tubes. I put them in a Bugera 1960 Infinium, alongside some Tung Sol and Sovtek EL84's, great combo, great sound. I'm going to use these in all my tube amps!

I put a pair of these in a budget yackin 23b phono pre amp and there doing an awesome job. Warm and pleasing to listen to. Break in period is pretty short and relatively pain free.
