This kit came super fast. The railing is a little tall but it still looks great and is nice and sturdy!

So I bought a both the level and the angle system. The level system was pretty straight forward. Once I got the hang of it it went pretty quick for an 8ft section. The angle system on the other hand was and is still being very difficult for me. The instructions for both are slightly better than IKEA instructions in that there are pictures but very little wording and actual instructing you on what you should do. I am having to tap in the the female end of the cable terminal with the angle washer because the cable angles coming through with the male end do t quite line up. On top of all that, I realized shortly ago that when you buy the 20 angle system, they only give you 2 end caps. I am using this on a flight of stairs that turn after 8 ft and now don’t have end caps. Also, because they expect it to be a straight shot, I only got 20 cable terminals and 20 angle washer, when I need 40 because of the turn. I know this is a long review but is worth it to say. I love the end result of the level system and its easiness. The angle system leaves a bad taste in my mouth as of now but I’m sure once the project is complete, it will look amazing!! Overall, I would give the level system a 5⭐️ and the angle system a 3.5⭐️.

I installed the 8’ railing today. Took me 4 hours total and I had to drill through brick to mount it. The instructions are not the best but it’s pretty straight forward. I few things I learned along the way.- you will need a cable crimper. I purchased the one in the photo for $40. I used #4 to crimp the cables- if you are mounting the rails in brick / concrete, the mounts that come with it aren’t the best. I had to fight them and if I did it again, I’d purchase better quality ones from a hardware store- if you are installing the metal handrail it’s almost impossible to mark the holes, lay it down and drill/tap the holes so they all line up. All of my post/rail junctions only have 3 or the 4 screws in them. Thankfully it’s still very sturdy and no one can see it- installing the cables was actually very easy and fast once you learned how to do it- the most annoying part, my railing did not come with end caps so the project looks unfinished. I’ve contact the seller and will provide an update.Overall I’m happy with the rail. It’s strong, looking great and seemed to be worth the $400 minus the issues listed above.

Everything you need to put up a 4' section or smaller. Everything you need is included even the drill bit, cabling, all the hardware, all included. Especially great as the top rail is also in this kit. This is a super easy kit to install and the look is wow fantastic. You will need a crimper and I was able to find one right here on Amazon for a very small price, completing the install in just one afternoon. Great quality stainless steel with black matte coating, great quality. Super fast shipping

Product is of great quality! However. There is no instructions for making cuts, or what size blade to use. I had to order extra wire. I also had to order another kit for just one rail. So all in all great but order extra.

Update - after my initial review I was contacted by the seller. Excellent customer service and follow up. They offered a partial refund for the inconvenience which is very nice of them. It's a good looking product and pretty solid materials. My issue is with handrail.-handrail joint - if you need a 8' rail, like I do, the 2 pieces of handrail (4' each) will join in the middle. There's a plastic block that goes in between the pieces. That does not provide a strong joint so the handrail wiggles.- Handrail finish - if you are not extremely careful it will scratch. It is not fingerprint proof. So it'll end up looking dirty after awhile.- the drill bit provided it is not the right size to open the handrail holes so you will need to buy another one.- Since I don't install these things everyday, I had to buy a wire cutter and a crimping tool. Those were not provided. So be ready to spend another $100 in tools.
