These are a fantastic size, larger than the "regular" plastic eggs you find at the grocery store. Holds longer pieces of candy or some small/medium sized prizes. Generous size is really nice to find!

I ordered these eggs for use in an adult Easter egg hunt. They are decently made (although a couple came with the little hinge between the two haves broken-they still work fine). They are especially handy for larger candies or prizes. Prices for comparable empty eggs are all over the place, but this product is on the high side based on the number of pieces you get. Overall, I’m pleased with them but wish I got more eggs for the price.

A little over 3 inches by 2 inches, the eggs come in bright colors and large enough to hold a tube of candy discs, a lollipop small, and a piece of gum. The size is a bit larger than regular Easter eggs and could make it the prize eggs with a special treat for the occasion. The eggs have an intact strip of plastic that holds the top and bottom together. Please note the eggs have holes above and below the center snap line. Water and fire ants in the South can enter. So these are not overnighter eggs. Hide eggs an hour or so before the hunt. Or put in a basket and disperse to children who are not so good at finding eggs or refuse to be competitive. The holes do let an adult take a peek inside what is in the egg. Some older children may do so by looking for their favorite candies. Having holes on its egg ends also gives some possibilities for craft making, stringing up, or even making an Easter Egg ornament tree. Those donated business vouchers would fit well into these Easter Eggs and be placed on a tree to care for some children's needs. The package has 12 eggs, and eggs have some flex but are manageable to snap together if you happen to be the adult chosen for the upper-level task of filling the Easter eggs and blessing each part.

For the cost, I would expect more eggs. They are a good quality and slightly larger than standard size eggs, which makes for an easier filling experience.
