I can only wear natural wood plugs in my guaged ear piercings. I get infected otherwise. These are great quality, lite weight wood. It breathes and keeps bad smell to a minimum.

Overall not bad for the price. Six pair for the price of one pair on a body jewelry site. That said, do yourself a favor and break out the sandpaper. The factory finish isn't the smoothest and at least one pair was completely untreated wood. The others have a beeswax finish. I didn't realize the pair was untreated and after a couple days of wear the inside rim of my earlobe had become attached to the wood. I was not aware of that until AFTER I had pulled out one of the plugs and blood started to drip. Needless to say, that pair got some extra sanding and a hard rubbing of beeswax. They wear great now.

These were purchased as a gift and he loved them. The flair is just enough to keep them from falling out like some of the other pairs he's used.

As I said in my previous rating, product is improperly sized. Finish of the pieces is nice however I cannot wear them because the saddle is too wide of a flare. Look nice in the drawer, won’t ever wear them! Going to return them for refund
